On paper this looks a very one sided contest.
Mercer v Earl at 8 is a tasty prospect.

Very good centre. One of Gide that just has more time than anyone else. Passes if either hand, good feet, decent gas. Just looks a level above his age grade peers.Puja wrote:What's he like then?Epaminondas Pules wrote:Bird-Tulloch playing!! Kid has a serious future!!

Was basically a one boy team at schools level U15/U16. Has played some A league before.

19 Api Ratuniyarawa
20 Devante Onojaife
21 Tom Kessell
22 Fraser Strachan
23 Jamie Elliott
I'd back that backline to beat what we played on Saturday. Always think Hutchinson makes more sense at 10 than Harry. I really hope this centre pairing is used at the weekend against Tigers. Hoping Ford-Robinson has a good game and can at least make then bench for the weekend too for some carrying power.

There were rumours Onojaife was coming back to Bedford on loan. We can probably put those rumours to bed in the short term.

Re: A league 2017/18
Sounds like Horne has been very impressive in the first half and was pulled off at half time. Here's hoping he can do a lot to sort out his colleagues next weekend. Stephenson never started and was replaced by Elliot with Estelles going into centre. Hope Stephenson isn't injured again, terrible luck if so.
It's Jordan Onajaife (lock) going to Bedford, rather than his brother Devante (back row) as far as I'm aware.

Wasps got demolished by Falcons, a few bright notes in Hampson, Willis and Miller but not much beyond that apparently.

Renaldo Bothma broke his arm in Quins A League game ...
Chisholm is still out with concussion and with Wallace's injury our back row is threadbare to say the least ...
Neither Archie White or Dino Lamb are first team quality IMO, but will likely see game time in the AP now.

Could there be anyone available on injury dispensation? Would be good to actually sign someone good for the backrow...Scrumhead wrote:Renaldo Bothma broke his arm in Quins A League game ...

Re: A league 2017/18
Absolutely would be, but I very much doubt we'll do that.
The best I can see is us bringing back some has been that's recently left like Naoupu to cover. We could have had Guy Mercer or Sam Dickinson but they've recently moved to Ospreys and Saints.
