arf. Though not Ford's fault (bar he and Youngs dumb ass failed grubbers), Tigers were rank.
Read a Healy article ages ago saying that Ford made a mistake going back to TIgers because their pack isn't good enough anymore.

He may have had a point. The gulf between Lawes and the Tigers second and back row was massive.

Personally I rate Barrow @ 4 and Williams @ 6.

Like say
1) Genge
2) McGugian
3) Cole
4) Barrow
5)
6) Williams
7) Evans
8)

Add in a Big nasty lock @ 5 and a nasty aggressive attacking 8 and that could be a hell of a pack.

It's all about balance something our pack is really missing.

Isn't Barrow supposed to be a big nasty lock though? If he's not the big nasty lock, which one is he?

I want two though, we need a carrying one.
Lineouts IMO is down to coaching again IMO but i don't rate Blaze. Personally think Tigers need to sign a forwards coach and a lineout specfic coach who can coach the seniors, Development, Juniors and Loughborough like Stanko does with the scrum.

Yeah, looking at the way the Bath pack are playing and at the service he's getting I would be thinking that too if I were him.

Much better from Saints, let's hope they don't have to get dicked before we see a good performance again. Lawes brilliant as per.
Perhaps, the Itoje at 6 debate should simply cease with the shirt going to Lawes.
I don't think looking competent against this Leicester back row should really be the benchmark...

Puja
quite, I actually thought he was being over-lauded tbh

I was expecting more from their locks than this, if not their back row. It is possible of course that Leicester have done more preseason gym work than most with a view to performing later in the season, and they'll start to come good in another 3 rounds, but much more of this and they'll be struggling for a top 4 spot, and maybe even top 6
I don't think any amount of gym work can lead to an augmentation of the 'talent' I saw. Plus the non treatment of Ryan was an utter disgrace. If they ended up in court, it wouldn't go well.

At one stage Kitchener was seemingly 5/6th in line for England. Last couple of years he's completely failed to kick on, probably regressed.

They, along with their mates, were pants yesterday. But you are saying you could have a hell of a pack if you added in two top players, if your 2nd team 7 comes good, and if your 4 and 6 play better than they did yesterday. There's a few sides could say that :)

Genge was brilliant, would like to see him, George and sinkler developed for England

He was, but he needs looking after, he's playing a hell of a lot of rugby for a young prop. He's going to end up going the way of Corbs' if he's not managed right.

And we'd still have the best carrier amongst the front row options in Mako to include in addition

Saints tried to wind him up mercilessly...he didn't bite much.

Vunipola M too needs looking after, great talent.
