Meat's meat & the cat's gotta eat. Am I the only one who feels sorry for the predators when the prey escapes them on the wildlife documentaries? If so, why do people get so happy when they see lions and cougars being released back into the wild? What do they think those lions and cougars are going to eat?

My Dad and I kept racing pigeons when I was young. I caught next door's cat tucking into one of our fledglings once and still have the scars on my thumb which got pretty well mashed up along with the cat during the process of smashing its head into a pulp with a half-brick. It took them 2 hours to pick the bits of cat out of my hands before stitching them back together.

I admit the cat was only acting out of instinct; I plead the same defence Mi' Lud.
