Bristol United team to face Bath United at Hornets RFC on Saturday, 16 September (1.30pm KO):
15. James Newey; 14. Jack Wallace, 13. Thretton Palamo, 12. Sam Bedlow, 11. Tom Hargan; 10. Callum Sheedy (c), 9. Andy Uren; 1. Jack Cosgrove, 2. Ben Gompels (Bristol University), 3. Nick English, 4. Giorgi Nemsadze, 5. Joe Joyce, 6. James Dun, 7. Callum Bowden (Hartpury BUCS), 8. Max Cresswell (Bristol University).
Replacements: 16. George Kloska (SGS College), 17. Tom Rowland, 18. Alex Gibson (Hartpury BUCS), 19. Alex Clementson (Hartpury BUCS), 20. Reiss Cullen, 21. Nathan Chamberlain (SGS College), 22. Maliq Holden (Hartpury BUCS).

The Martinovic/Hartpury connection working well for us so far. With the 1st team making 11 changes the United side is bit weaker than normal I would say.

21 Ben Pointon
22 Chris Davies

As Maksymiw and Mapaplangi have shown playing well in the A league does put you in good standing for potentially playing in the senior 23 esp with injuries. So with the likely injuries against quins some of these players will be playing for a 23 shirt.

Olowofela's break was very nice and Evans showed some nice sleight of hand. Good to see our A team finally coming together, even if the highlights do seem to have to be accompanied by the bleepy bleepy music.

T'was indeed. He needs to put on a bit of bulk but he's got a nice change of direction and good pace. Looks a reasonable prospect...on the basis of the 2 seconds I saw...

Appears to be a raft of game postponements. Not really working this expanded tournament.

Trouble with having the game the day after the match gives you zero time to prepare for late injury call ups.

It would surely make more sense to have the games Monday or Tuesday, no?

They usually are Monday aren't they?
Trouble with Tuesday is lack of time before the next senior match, especially with the number of Friday games we're getting this year.

Steve Bath? That sounds like the name that you put down on the match card for you mate's cousin who's in the Quins academy but is down for the weekend and was talked into a game.

Wasn't it streamed on youtube aswell?

Not sure why more teams don't try to do that.
