Our first away win since, actually I can’t remember when we last won away so happy with that even if it isn’t against the strongest in the league.
Nice to see them putting Zebre to the sword too.

Ospreys' much-improved performance still couldn't quite prevent the worst possible result.
Jarrod Evans having a bit of a mare against Ulster.
It's still October and this Pro14 season already can't end quickly enough.

Blues were desperately poor again - they don't look a happy team at all & are gifting other teams 15-20pts headstart every game.

Great result and effort from the Dragons this week. Can we begin to believe this is a new dawn??
But a worrying capitulation from the Scarlets.

So, when all the players are back from RWC, excluding LT injured.
Whats the strongest 23 each region could field?

That pack should be competitive enough, the backs still look weak though.

Got to be honest, it looks very uninspiring.

Juandre Kruger is our new second row mun (17 SA caps), I reckon Shingler is better than Thomson tho I suppose Thomson should have the bench spot I've given to MacLeod, I forgot about S Evans tbh and tried to edit but it seems I've duplicated Conbeer, I think there is little between the two of them so wouldn't mind which way round they are in the squad.

The backrow looks excellent, they could still do with more depth at prop and in the second row.

Aye, he played in the last two games I've watched.

The Ospreys' 20-10 loss to Connacht generally saw some - let us say - refereeing unsympathetic to the Ospreys' cause. But the pick of the bunch was for Parry's try:
Just as he flopped over the line a Connacht player tackled him around the neck. Parry hit the ground, touching the ball down. The arm remained tightly in place around his neck. Then the Connacht player lifted Parry's upper half off the ground - by the neck - and he flopped down again slightly further back (but still over the line).
The ref and one linesman were a couple of metres away from all of this. Nothing was done.
If this had happened anywhere else on the pitch it, or if the foul play had actually prevented the try, it would have been at least a yellow, probably a red. but no, try scored, nothing to see here.
I thought the sport was trying to stamp out dangerous and high tackles, but there seems to be a blind spot when a try is scored.

The standard of refereeing in the PRO14 is really not good. It’s really disappointing when it’s a safety issue that has caused umpteen red cards (rightly IMO) at the RWC that is then practically ignored in the domestic game.

Yeah, the amount of neck rolls and high tackles going unpunished over the weekend was ridiculous, that and now it seems the refs have gone from being partial to the home team to the opposite.

Cardiff managed to win against a 14 man Cheeters team (very deserved red card early on) and at one point they had a two man advantage. Some good stuff in patches but some poor basics as well.

Yeah. Just two tries with 500+ meters and the Cheetahs missing 30+ tackles was a meager haul.

I thought they looked good in the backs with Tovey at 10 and Evans at 12, expansive, I'm wondering where Matthew Morgan is going to fit in when they have Amos, Adams and Lane back, perhaps on the bench as I see Amos playing at 15.
