Again, a good result there. I thought that Italian defenders were offside as well as pulling it down.

Yep.

So a much better first half but two of those tries came from Italian mistakes or pathetic tackling. With ball in hand they look far more dangerous. Our centre partnership is a bit papier-mâché in defence.

But the pack is fronting up and Webbs game management is much improved. Kicking from hand also much better and we’ve been able to compete for the ball.

Better but still a long way to go

Glass-Half-Empty perspective: An hour ago, losing this game would have been shrug, sigh, carry on. Losing it from here, is a whole new level of catastrophe. And you know and I know we can do it.
