That however is a horrible kick by Smith but great recovery from him and good cover from Steward who might have finally shaken the rust off.

His ability to step at full speed while keeping that low body position and drive through contact is just mad.

Love George Martin. Jordie Barrett regretted that almost instantaneously.

I wish we had Tom Willis on the bench to come on at 8.

Excellent take from Freeman, from another very well executed crossfield kick from Marcus

Well done young Marcus. Scrum seems to have stabilised which is handy.

Is it some sort of sponsorship deal you have?

You can take the man out of Loughborough but you can't take Loughborough out the man. I do like to see him getting stuck in.

Marcus Smith has got those crossfield kicks dialled in. Really nice conversion from him as well.

Two very well constructed and executed tries.

Itoje is best player on the pitch. Earl one of the poorest.

Earl had done a lot of carrying and made ground, but his errors have been pretty huge.

Being as mobile yet still physical like Earl is a plus against most teams apart from maybe the ABs where there backrow are all as mobile and at least as physical.

A touch harsh on Earl considering how good he’s been for the past year or so, but across these two games, he’s made a ton of errors on both sides of the ball.

If Curry were to replace him would CCS move to 8?

Just looks a bit knackered to me. It’s a shame we’re not even seeming to consider another option at 8, in favour letting Curry play himself back in to form at test level.

Playing 7 for your club and 8 for country, particularly against NZ, must be difficult.

IFW is going to be some player once he’s got more experience under his belt.
