Test week. I'd be very surprised if there wasn't at least one fight at training. Sure, even at my shithouse level we used to get a fair bit of that in the build up to big games.Big D wrote:I'll have a look and see if I can find them. There is the odd murmuring on social media that there has been a split in the camp. Not seen anyone that would be considered sensible discussing it though.
Any links?

That, plus, rumours of scandal and discord are proven ways of generating interest in a book.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Test week. I'd be very surprised if there wasn't at least one fight at training. I`d believe that there might be scandal ("I thought he was a woman as well" etc.) not so sure about discord in this Pro. era.Stones of granite wrote:That, plus, rumours of scandal and discord are proven ways of generating interest in a book.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Test week. Blistering pace so far. Lions might want to ease off the kicking game for a bit, if they give the AIG's that much ball on the 10 meter line for the full 80 it's going to get painful.

Yeah that's the danger of using box kicks.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Blistering pace so far. Lions might want to ease off the kicking game for a bit, if they give the AIG's that much ball on the 10 meter line for the full 80 it's going to get painful.

No doubt, it's being played at a mentally high pace.cashead wrote:The guys who started for the Lions must be gassed. Furlong looked absolutely shattered going off.

Agreed. I'm a big Kruis fan but he's been pish. POM and Teo had been doing their job well too.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Not sure Gatland is getting these subs entirely right.

Never seen him play so poorly. Got to feel for him, if you are going to have an off day, today isn't the ideal day to do it.Big D wrote:Agreed. I'm a big Kruis fan but he's been pish. I just can't see the logic for taking off AWJ rather than Kruis.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Never seen him play so poorly. Jones was struggling to keep up with the pace of the game. Gatland was caught between a rock and a hard place with that call.Big D wrote:I just can't see the logic for taking off AWJ rather than Kruis.Edinburgh in Exile wrote:Never seen him play so poorly. Aye, I'm pretty sure he always planned to yank AWJ at some point. Sure he wouldn't be expecting Kruis to be a bit ropey.cashead wrote:Jones was struggling to keep up with the pace of the game.
