He was playing 12 in super rugby.

As suspected Cockerill is snapped up quickly - by Toulon. Still available for next season as it's a short term deal.

Been out of the loop for weeks so apologies if this has been covered, but what's the script with Nel?

Good point. No idea. Maybe someone on twitter could tweet him? Give him something to do.

Oh dear. Another one?

Let's hope his form lasts a bit longer than Murray's, or will the Lions tour be the end of him?

Is that necessary? Murray let his faith get in the way of his rugby. Nel has been a superb professional both on and off the pitch since arriving in Edinburgh.

Steady on Mike, Eskimo is a saffer, it's not uncommon for those cats to be fairly religious.

I still can't understand why people give out about Murrays choice not to play on Sundays either, do you boys think he owes you something?

Sometimes I like to pick up a half pint glass, and pretend I'm fucking massive.

Does it look like a normal pint glass in your hand?

Your right re murray. I had no issue with him not playing Sundays except that it usually meant a back up playing a decent scrummaging unit.

Necessary? I can't imagine what part of that post presented itself as something to be taken seriously.

Great timing. If he gets two good starts in Id say that makes him ready for the 6N

I think Id rather have Zander starting against the Irish and then bring on New with 20 to go to bust through holes and put the Irish scrum into trouble

Irish scrum is the best in the championship.

If Nel is fit, he plays

Dickinson missing the start of the 6N. Sad really. This season would have seen him in with an outside Lions chance if not for injury.

I hope that injury wasn't further aggravated by leaving him on the pitch for a further 10 minutes? I'm still raging at that. WTF was Hodge thinking?

decent ed team

Kinghorn
Hoyland
Dean
Burligh
Brown
Weir
Kennedy

Dell
Ford
WP NELL
Makenzie
Toolis
Bradbury
Watson
Du Preeze

That is actually a pretty awesome team, if they could get a bit of confidence and a coach who could give them a bit of toughness that team could walk into the top 6

Possibly centres could do with a wee bit more

weak bench though

Lol... Plus a fly half and improvements at 4 & 9. Be realistic.

Saying that team is top 6 is being realistic, also said that they need a decent coach,

Whilst it's good to see young Scottish talent in the Embra team, Glasgow could put out a reserve set of backs that are better than that. None of that lot are getting a Scotland cap anytime soon, barring injuries. In fact, Weir apart (even then I'd pick an out of position Horne in front of him) and perhaps Kinghorn, none of them are second choice for Scotland.

Sorry state of affairs when you only have two pro teams.

In fact knicking EinEs line: what is the collective for an Embra selection: a murder of fuds.

Having said all of that, I'll stop being a miserable erse and wish Embra all the best. Hope it goes well when you get to Myreside.

None of that backline would look out of place in a top 6 side but there's no star quality. SBC and Kinghorn could get there but not yet.
