John Menteith betrayed his country for a few quid and a bit of land from the English. Better known as the chap who captured and turned a certain Mr Wallace over to England in the early 1300s.

Greg - he then signed the declaration of arbroath hardly a sell out scot. Wallace wasn't universally popular in Scotland.

I know who he was, just wondered what relevance he has to this rugby board discussion?

My mate bumped into George North in Melbourne (didn't give him concussion). Said he was a nice fella which isn't a surprise.

The Lions cucks on this board must be loving this. The first time in the history of the Lions that a nation has had no test representation on a tour I believe.

A term used by alt-right dweebs with fragile masculinity, that comes from "cuckold."

Not even close.

Several tours now regarded as official Lions tours were Anglo-Welsh or Anglo-Scots squads.

How long ago are you talking about Liz?

Probably up until the 1950 tour (when the Lions nomenclature was adopted).

Fucking right mate, sounded rank when it was explained to me. Dangerously easy to drink.

Been laying into the Poutine on the stagger back from the pub as well. How's the weather treating you over there?

Not overly fussed with the poutine tbh. Not proper chips innit.

Weather is excellent over here, at least mid 20s every day. In Tofino just now before heading back to Vancouver.

Recced a pub for tomorrow night too.

Here is something for you to pull yourself off to Greg.

Fair warning it's a Wales Online opinion article... and it's a fucking beaut.

Nice one. Aye, point taken on the chips, but when in Rome cat man.

It's been brutal hot all week here, pretty steady 30 degrees.

Tofino looks class.

It was. Could have done with another couple of days and a few more dollars though. I also seriously underestimated the temp of the water.

It's like listening to my mum talking about politics.

But here's why Gatland's evil. I'm not a diehard Lions fan exactly, but the lads are having a Lions breakfast at the pub tomorrow and I thought, nah, not really interested.... What the feck is wrong with me?! Breakfast at the pub ffs!

I get why people are disinterested, it's not as if I'm not pissed off but the reactions of some make them look like 12 year old girls. It is also generally the people that were greeting that they didn't want any jocks in the team due to fatigue and potential injury and then throw a hissy fit that nobody was selected. It makes us look like the stereotypical blokes with the full fish supper on our shoulders.

Speaking as a fud - and a complete one at that - I missed the first test as I was golfing. Second test I saw most of on a stag do and wasn't really paying attention until the last ten when I wanted the Lions to lose marginally less than I wanted NZ to lose. Golfing tomorrow.
