We've got a good little league now. 20 at last count.

My squad is 99% there. I have two players I may swap out of the squad once the teams for the weekend are announced (I'm not 100% certain on fitness) but I'm set on the rest.

Once the season kicks off, I'll post a league table so it would be useful to know what team belongs to which member.

My team name is 'Scrum of the Earth'.

I think I've got my squad nailed down, although it's changed quite drastically the last week or so. Mine are The Pujover Tries - everyone loves a nice cheap pun.

How do you view the (mini) league?

It'll appear after the first week's games.

Just to clarify, do we have up until 30 mins before KO tomorrow night to finalise our squads?

I'm in. Black and Gold is the team. Initial squad selected but will be subject to a few tweaks.

Going back and forward on my squad. Better to have the players in reserve or the cash?

Currently have 31 players and 500k left.

Worrying that in week 1, I'm struggling to put a 23 out...

I'd lean toward having the cash, as there's no limit on transfers in, only transfers out.

Had the same issue.. Got rid of some costly non selected players and brought in some cheap starters.

Decided to take a punt on Manu, in the subs though. Costly player, but if he's actually back? Definitely one worth having. Not entirely content with my pack, and picking a captain isn't simple, but hoping that after a few weeks it becomes easier to see how things work.

I can't put a 23 out either...because the site keeps crashing. They're going to have this issue after 12pm every Friday so I hope they find a way to sort it out. Otherwise I can see people just not bothering if it becomes a hassle to pick your team every week.

Did mine pretty much when lineups came out, was slowing down, but doable. I suspect they'll work it out for next week.

I did too. I'm in a hotel room in Mykonos so I thought it was their wifi ...

Let's give the guy a chance though. If it's struggling, it's a sign that people are hitting the site so good luck to him.

I have 35 players and only £16k left. I took the opposite view to Puja and thought that by investing smartly early doors I could pick up a few bargains before values start ratcheting up.

31 players and $300k remaining, going to wait and see I think, taken a risk or two. Marcus Smith on the bench, hoping he'll either light it up against Irish and be worth his spot, or the hype will drive his value up.

Tell me about it. What this is showing so far is that I know nothing about props. Six selected, only one is starting this weekend and he was the one I left out of my 23 initially.

What do you guys reckon for captain? Gamble on a winger scoring a few tries or play safe and take a kicker or lock?

Sorted. 32 players picked and 300k left. First 23 selected, albeit in fits and starts as the site is obviously struggling.

Kicker all day every day.

After much faffing I've ended up with a squad of 32 and 700 left in the bag.

I'm hoping that I'll get some value from my cheap players but still have enough flexibility to always make a 23. It's made my squad a little lobsided.

just realised I don't have a single Leicester players in there.not sure why.

I've got a squad of 32 and pretty confident about my cover in every position. I do have £147k left and I'm undecided whether to save it for future transfer flexibility or use it to buy one of Ludlam/Brophy Clews as an investment. Actually, sod it, I'm dropping Woodward and signing Tuilagi.

Wait, what do you mean I've got too many Leicester players!? Ridiculous. Right, Woodward back in again. I'll be glad when the deadline's done and I can't chop and change anymore.

Had some last minute fiddling today, squad grew in size as I dropped one expensive player who isn't playing today, and replaced him with 2 players who are playing today.

Mainly I was anticipating Joseph being rested, and I had no bench cover for the outside backs who were actually starting this weekend. So I rectified that. And I think my squad is slightly better because of it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to see a points breakdown for a player? So I can see Simmonds got 55 points, but how? 10 each for the tries, 1 for playing, and then how does the rest breakdown?

Is this part of the premium subscription? I didn't get anyone signing up through my link, so I don't have that premium. (here's the link if anyone has yet to sign up http://ru.gbymag.com/f/5a917 )

The breakdown of scoring is on the site but AFAIK you can't see a breakdown at the moment (I have the premium account).

The scores are based upon the Opta stats, so it may be that they're available after all of the games in the round have been played.

There is a little disclaimer pop up at the moment saying 'we're still crunching the numbers' so I would imagine that's what it's referring to.

I'm happy with my selections so far. 222 points so far with 10 starters and 5 subs yet to play's not a bad return. I just should have made a better choice on the captain.
