Lydiate bearhugging our own ball on our ruck on his back... no advantage from raynal, we knock on the next phase. Cannot stand this guy, honestly.

That makes no sense for Scotland to wheel that scrum. Sometimes refs need to apply logic.

Lucky we have such a good defence coach. I'm sure he'll sort this out.......

Jones needs dropped. Can't complain about Russell when we have this nonsence in the most crucial defensive position on the pitch

That's not just Jones at fault. If Seymour holds the defensive structure, or Dunbar gets out on his man then Jones isn't left on two men.
It's a system failure.

Must have been tempted to take Wilson off and stick Rambo at 8.
Price needs to be subbed.

Clear double movement by Gray. Not sure what he was thinking.
We are looking like a poorly coached side in this game.

Unclear why the ref has changed his mind about wales being offside all the time, seems harsh on them even if its a welcome adherence to the rules

As tough as that was, it is another mistake. He should be catching that.

Bravo Adam, down 11 with 3 min left kicking it off the park. Perfect summary of his performance.

Price and Hastings were brutal today.

Yeah, no idea why Hastings got the full 80min. Unless Jones was injured.

Aye but he wasn't great either.

1 - he wasn’t thinking. Not sure we have a lot of players who do.
2 - yup.

Very frustrating. Dont think we were awful but we are always going tobstruggle with the way Raynal refs a game. Very hard to get a turnover but he will let you slow it down all day as long as you eventually let go.
Think the criticism of Hastings and Price is a but harsh though not first choice. Need a bit more of a plan against a defence that flies up. Good break aside, Im not sure we got enough from Dunbar.
All in all, it's a game that hasnt really changed my view. We can beat anyone (except NZ) but will still lose plenty.

Next week I'd go (allowing for some limited rotation:
Berghan
Brown
Dell
Gray
Gilchrist
Ritchie (or Fagerson but dont like dripping Ritchie now)
Watson
Wilson
Laidlaw
Seymour
Russel
Scott
Jones
Maitland
Kinghorn

Huw Jones cut in and it led to two tries. He really doesn’t like playing against the welsh.

He's definitely fully to blame for the 1st but there is also fault elsewhere with the 2nd too. Our defence hasn't looked organised for a while.

Hastings will be grand in the long run. I don't think it's unfair to say he was really poor today. For him it's a step in his learning.

I'd say Hastings was quite average and uninspired but wouldnt say he was that poor. Better back up than we've had in a while. Russell will be a big step up though

Having looked again, I was wrong, it's the Welsh hand that lifts the ball and hence the arm. Should really be a Scotland penas.

Didn’t see the game. Worth watching? Doesn’t sound like it.
But let me guess...Scotland, once again, fail in trying to re-write the rules of modern rugby by thinking they can compete when they lose all the collisions by picking a lightweight team.
