Is JNGF going to get his wish and see Itoje there?
I'm guessing it's Earl. But still. WTF?

Clearly no love for the Simmonds boys ...
Umaga is a promising player but does not deserve that call-up.
Pleased to see Mitchell is included as an apprentice at least but retaining Youngs and Heinz is such a retrograde step.

Right - we pick him when he’s injured but ignore him when he’s fit and playing well.

It seems odd (or just totally arbitrary?) he's not an 'apprentice' selection. He clearly won't play.
And I really doubt EJ would want someone like Cipriani or Simmonds in there who might show up one his starters in training.
I'm veering towards Oakboy's view that we should ditch Jones and ban all Saracens players from the game.

Whoops.
Make that 6 locks? Ewels, Moon, Launchbury, Lawes, Itoje, Kruis. What the fuck is that about? And another scrum-half gets in the way?

Reading twitter apparently nowell is actually injured and needs surgery (I some how completely missed this despite watching the game at the weekend).

It's generally safer to assume he is injured after every match rather than waiting for a confirmation of fitness.
One thing that had totally passed me by, somehow, is that Marler never re-retired as many expected.

I wonder if there are so many locks due to a possible imminent departure of Kruis to Japan as has been rumoured.

Are Slade and McConnochie injured as well? I would have expected them there, especially Slade.

Slade is but McConnochie isn't.
Bit of a strange squad. Haven't seen much of the uncapped players so who is looking good to be in there long term?

Blimey. Jones must’ve had a good time in Lyon at the weekend.
