Yeah, I don't mind him being extra hard on him in the breakdown, when it's easy to pick fault, but that's twice now in the maul he's told him to get out for no good reason that I can see.

I think the law says that the tap has to be taken in front of the referee which it wasn't. The laws also say the ref is sole interpreter of the laws so if he says it's ok then it is. If it happens again in the final I'd put money on a different ref reaching a different decision though.

Think if you allow Hughes' from in front of the mark, you need to allow that one too.

Just had a quick look, and no reference in the short form laws that I can see.

Willis motm, Robson and Rowlands mentioned in dispatches. Shields quietly effective imo. Oh and Launchbury was good too

Curry can do it, and do it perfectly well.

Not sure Exeter will give Wasps that much freedom to play, but with an extra week's rest?

Interesting call if Fekitoa isn't fit. De Jongh is a better bet at 13 than Booj, but has only played once since the restart so wont be match sharp

I am aware of that- I just think Billy is better there. I’m not one who criticised Curry. Curry would be my openside, with Willis at 6.

Wasps have done incredibly well with their resources, and the coaches deserve much praise.

Gopperth quietly pulled the strings with Umaga as well. Massive boost he's back. Willis deserved that man of the match award he was everywhere. Hopefully he'll refine with some international game time and then what a player England will have, he's already quite a player as well. Eddie was there I can't see him overlooking Willis.

Still going with the refine line eh? It’s less about that imo than learning to play at a much higher pace and intensity. It was all about the forwards and gain line today, ultimately; Wasps did Bristol at the breakdown.

Bris not at their best. Made too many errors and got led up some blind alleys by a very well organised defence.
Hats off to Wasps, though. That was a tremendous all round effort.
Willis simply has to play for England this autumn. Robson is making a very strong case for a chance.

There were big holes out wide for Brizz, but Wasps prevented them getting good ball to exploit them regularly.
