Dunbar was great but he must be a bit frustrated. Came through relatively late and ended at the top level pretty early.
mmm. Capped at every age group. Debut for Glasgow at 19 (on the wing IIRC!). First full cap at 23 which isn't early but I wouldn't call even relatively late
But so few caps, so many bad injuries

He could have been our current truly world class centre and it's such a shame it didn't work out that way.

I'm not going to argue about who's to blame or when it happened exactly, but it seemed much rarer he had those storming games after the major injury and it was sad the way he drifted away from the top level. There was one particular game though, I think away in Australia (maybe 2017?) where it felt like he almost shut down their attack entirely on his own.

he didn't achieve what he might had he stayed fit. And TBF to him it wasn't just the one bad injury that eventually led to him being a shadow of the player he had been.
When I imagine what he and Taylor might have been as a partnership had both stayed fit rather than spending so much time in rehab........ add in Horne at his contemporaneous peak for variation.
Taylor and Dunbar had the ability, and often proved it, to play 12 and 13 with equal aplomb, with skill as well as bosh in both. Not too many like that

Price is experienced enough to know charge downs are unacceptable and how to.fox the problem. If he needs guards get them in place before kicking it.

Good start except those charge downs.

Seriously Ali son. Itoje is the big lad with the scrum cap.

Give the ball to a 10 to kick. This is nonsense from Price.

Signs are good so far but really need to score a try here soon.

Indeed but doesn't mean Price should do the same thing and expect a different result.

Well I don't really know how to feel after that. I think that I shall go have another drink instead of over analysing.

One big effort now like two years ago especially in the first eight minutes before you get Russell back.

Negative:
Fringe defence
8 minutes no Finn
Missed conversion and emerging only 2 points up from a yellow card

Positive
Playing well
Winning at HT

Overall, I’d have taken it at this stage but feel we need to be ahead by 60 minutes...

Haven't played that badly! Just England to keep penalising themselves out of contention - because of all the pressure we're bringing - and we could take this.

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

If we don't win this it's going to be a crushing defeat... To have caused so many problems and had so much possession and not close it out....

Ten minutes of hard defence. Common jocks.

We must have a set play to open up.a drop goal chance here? Unrealistic to ruck for 3min.

Edit: maybe not.

Well done. The smile on Eddie Jones face will be a picture in his after match interview.
