I'm not going to argue about who's to blame or when it happened exactly, but it seemed much rarer he had those storming games after the major injury and it was sad the way he drifted away from the top level. There was one particular game though, I think away in Australia (maybe 2017?) where it felt like he almost shut down their attack entirely on his own.
he didn't achieve what he might had he stayed fit. And TBF to him it wasn't just the one bad injury that eventually led to him being a shadow of the player he had been.
When I imagine what he and Taylor might have been as a partnership had both stayed fit rather than spending so much time in rehab........ add in Horne at his contemporaneous peak for variation.
Taylor and Dunbar had the ability, and often proved it, to play 12 and 13 with equal aplomb, with skill as well as bosh in both. Not too many like that
