The Ospreys looked good in places but struggled to put away weak opposition. Morgan Morris had a good game though.

The Scarlets were genuinely impressive. Hopefully Patchell will be back in the Wales squad soon. Scott Williams ought to be too, on this form.

I’m surprised that Scott Williams isn’t in the wales team. He looks like our solution at IC and is in good form. As industrious as Tompkins has been, I think Scott offers a greater all round game. Scott and North in the centres would create a few questions for opposition defence.

Samson Lee is coming home injured from South Africa, and it looks as though his season is over, according to WalesOnline. Was surprised to see that he is still only 29. Thought he would be another dominant tight for Wales head post Adam Jones, but he’s had so many injuries down the years. Hope he can come back fit, and not be rushed back.

Willgriff John is also still injured so Javan Sebastian has flown out.

Hey, the Ospreys only lost by 30 points. Not bad for a SA match.

I saw the report of the Ospreys game and just thought ‘meh’. At one point that would have been a shocking loss now it’s just too routine.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Cardiff game. Thought they were in for a beating but they came back well. Also watched the first half of the Scarlets game, they scored some nice tries but Zebre are having a shocking season. Still, I’m taking nothing for granted with any Welsh team this season.

Ospreys and Dragons are both playing at sea level this week, hopefully they can both do a lot better without the altitude.

2 Welsh wins, can't complain. Especially Cardiff's comeback from 13 points down. Ben Thomas was a bit of a liability, but it was good to see Halaholo showing some of the form he couldn't find in the 6N

That looked horrible and it’s awful luck for him having just recovered from another injury.

Grim. The only positive was that he was fit at the right time, and had a great 6N.

Dragons utterly outclassed. Better to have a 28-0 Covid cancellation than this.

Jesus, that was an Ospreys team packed with Welsh internationals. And other than the first and last 5 minutes, was totally outclassed. Didn't have the speed, the physicality. Drive? Fitness? Who knows.

The SA tour is going to be horrific*.

* I know I will generate some optimism in the run up, but where these same players are going to get some better form from, I don't know.

I can’t remember a time when I felt more concerned about a forth coming tour. We have no confidence the game plan appears to be non existent and the regions are in free fall.

I expect all the blame to land at Provacs door but the WRU have got to wake up soon or else the whole thing will implode.

It used to be the case (or so my theory goes) that in the past the problem was the mediocre regional coaches that were squandering the talented players available to them. But now, by and large, the regions have decent coaches. I'm starting to think that the player quality isn't there any more - there just aren't enough good players (ie the problem that was confined to the Dragons is now affecting all four regions). And this is down to the WRU failing to attract and develop young talent.

Hard to see how this is going to get fixed, with the disfunctional WRU management structure.

I thought they were starting to turn a corner. But Llanelli have schooled them twice in a row.

After the first 10 minutes I thought The Scarlets were in trouble but they annihilated them in the second half, good try from Cabango and Jon Davies is looking sharp.

Went to the game, and had a good few beers (too many) in Canton afterwards. Was very pleased for the Scarlets, but Cardiff looked like they gave up. Felt sorry and a bit embarrassed for them with the last 2 tries.

Really enjoyable match last night, too. Think the Scarlets have too many injuries although looking at their website neither Patchell or Willgriff John are down as currently injured. Well played the Dragons though. As expected they look a much better side with their international players back. Wales Online are playing up the chances of Jack Dixon going to South Africa, he is as hard as nails but doesn’t pass much. Johnny Williams is playing very well at 13 at the moment.

Have a few more trips to Wales in the next few weeks and will probably go to a couple more games before the end of the season. It’s very nice watching in the warm weather with a beer, and there’s always a Welsh winner in a Welsh derby, unless there’s a draw.

Dixon is a good club player but I don’t see him as an international unless there was a major injury crisis. The dragons first XV is tidy enough but there’s no strength in depth.

Agreed. Some good looking signings for next season should help and I like a few of the youngsters coming through, such as Coleman and Fry. I probably said the same thing last year though. Hopefully they can win another game or two this season and then kick on next year.

Cracking game at Rodney Parade, although the Dragons will be kicking themselves. A few good performances, Carter and Keddie went well for the Dragons, Lousi, Lezana, Patchell & Johnny Williams looked good for the Scarlets. Think the Scarlets stronger bench was the clincher, especially the front row.

A bit more of an, er, absorbing encounter at the Arms Park, and as a lot of us would have thought beforehand the Ospreys forward power won the day, again especially off the bench. Dillon Lewis was pinged 3 or 4 times at the scrum even though he didn’t come in until about 55 minutes. Jac Morgan had a top game. Beard and Lake were good, too.

Webb had one of those games where he made the difference, getting an interception try to kill the game, and unlucky to have another chalked off. He is still glacially slow getting the ball out though. Anscombe looked classy outside but I think we need to see if he ever gets his pace back before we think of him as the Wales 10 again. Watkin looked really good in patches, he has had a good season, and Collins outside him also looked a cut above. Just doesn’t look quick enough for international rugby though.

Am going to see Ospreys v Scarlets next week and hopefully Dragons v Cardiff in May. The derbies have been enjoyable but there’s always the sneaking suspicion that it’s a lower standard than in the South African and Irish fixtures.

My blood pressure for the end of the dragons game was off the scale. We keep falling away in the last 20. Ithink its the bench impact although it wasn't an issue last week for whatever reason.

The Ospreys vs Cardiff First half was truly awful. Better second half but more about the Ospreys cutting out the mistakes rather than anything brilliant.

Johnny Williams is good but needs to look up a bit, he butchered several overlaps by not looking at what's in front of him, he gets good gainline success but he needs to improve his reading of the game and not look for contact every time he gets the ball.

Lousi was excellent as usual.

In the Ospreys game I thought Keelan Giles looks like he's added to his physicality which can only be good and Jac Morgan was very good again.

Yes, it's good to see Giles getting closer to his superb pre-injury form.
