Great game management from Smith. If we can cut out the stupid penalties, then we'll dominate.

Nick Isiekwe got caught in no man's land and then Marchant bought the step.
Isiekwe did but it was three backs v two forwards and one back in plenty of space and Itoje looked like he might be rounded - I can understand why he tried to hedge his bets. In that situation I’d hope/expect the backs would make a line break. Marchant faces a two on one so was trying to manufacture a more advantageous position. Marchant also managed to slow him down which I’ve been told is perfectly good enough.

I’d say a mixture of good and bad.

We’re also lacking penetration in midfield. Curry is carrying a lot.

He did do a couple of good things after I posted.

We’re just lacking penetration. Very good I’m broken play, not so good off first phase

Better, clearly the kicking has been identified as a good bet.

Hoping LCD and Simmonds start getting more tired shoulders in d as the game continues. Curry seems to be shouldering more than his share of theboshing.

I'd be fuming if I were a Scotland fan; I think we've definitely got the rub of the green with the refereeing decisions so far.

Yeah, this is a lot of defense for Scotland, how long can they keep it up.

He's had a couple of really good carries. A bit of time at 8 doesn't seem to have done him any harm

I’m not sure about that, there were a couple that were dodgy the other way, too. I think it’s relatively fair.

Okay, that was a shit decision against us. Scots player pulled right out of that ruck to send Malins off his feet.

Well, soft from us. Nice patterns going forward, but too many pens, poor kicking and iffy wide defence, not only for the try.

Dull penalty from Sinckler. Screamingly obvious and it's cost us 3 points before half time.

I don't think so, it's a tradition or an old charter or something.

Particularly grating, since discipline has been a bit better I thought.

There's been a couple of Scottish neck rolls that have been missed. Ref has been fairly even handed.

England have dominated possession and territory and done nothing with it.

Sign of a good side - leading when hardly any ball or territory.
Inexperience showing by Eng maybe.

Heads up rugby is a good idea. Who would’ve thought it?
