Isiekwe did but it was three backs v two forwards and one back in plenty of space and Itoje looked like he might be rounded - I can understand why he tried to hedge his bets. In that situation I’d hope/expect the backs would make a line break. Marchant faces a two on one so was trying to manufacture a more advantageous position. Marchant also managed to slow him down which I’ve been told is perfectly good enough.

He's had a couple of really good carries. A bit of time at 8 doesn't seem to have done him any harm

Dull penalty from Sinckler. Screamingly obvious and it's cost us 3 points before half time.

There's been a couple of Scottish neck rolls that have been missed. Ref has been fairly even handed.

England have dominated possession and territory and done nothing with it.

Sign of a good side - leading when hardly any ball or territory.
Inexperience showing by Eng maybe.
