We certainly made heavy weather of it. We looked pretty dominant but couldn't seem to get away from them on the scoreboard.

Last 20 minutes on Saturday we looked more like a side capable of throwing away a 21-point lead than any other in the history of the game - 'cept maybe Ireland when playing the All Blacks.

All according to the master plan. Attack like a bunch of half-arsed eejits and defend like a revolving door. That'll be Racing lulled into a perfectly realistic sense of security.

Genuinely awful performance . Scoreline flattered us and Leinster didn't even have to play well.

Racing away next week seems like an unlikely starting point on the road to recovery.
