Hard grunt of a game and I'd say Cardiff were worth their win. Competitive aul game, too.

Yeo, I'd agree with that, we never looked like we could tear them apart

71 mins. Munster four points behind. Penalty. Take the kick instead of going for the corner. Three points. Now one point behind.
Could somebody teach these Tornips how to count?

So, I've heard that there has been an outbreak of brawling at the Limerick training ground this week.

I bet ye its the gougers from Cork getting all riled up because they can't get Clonakilty black pudding sammidgis that far north.

Feck knows what'll happen when Tommy O'D finds out they won't put Cashel Blue on his burger!!!!

Who are ye? MelsBlue? Imagine the blizzard of mutual misunderstanding when him and Killer are having at each other!

Fleg on the play - TMO is there any reason why Killer can't open his mouth whilst talking?

That was a fecking grubby aul win on Saturday!

Still with our centres having fewer provincial caps between them than Dave Allen could count on his left hand, we were never going to cut them apart. Good to see Kleyn break his duck early (I think it took Saili something like half the season to get his first try!)

We certainly made heavy weather of it. We looked pretty dominant but couldn't seem to get away from them on the scoreboard.

I thought John Ryan was worth his MotM
Good to see Murray coming back into decent form, a few wayward passes aside

Last 20 minutes on Saturday we looked more like a side capable of throwing away a 21-point lead than any other in the history of the game - 'cept maybe Ireland when playing the All Blacks.

Good to see Earls back too. The wee bogger tackles like a real demon now

Should become a collectors item as one of the Munster jerseys least likely to be worn beyond January.

Good to hear that POM, TOD and Simon are all due a return on Saturday.

I have to say that I like the joy-rider skid mark effect - brings a bit of Limerick to the jersey. All it needs now are a few knife slashes for ventilation.

It needs a few kebab stains down the front to be fully authentic

Ach! Todays snappers wouldn't know about stains, so they wouldn't!

Ok, so it was only Zebre, but worth flagging up, I think, that Ian Keatley passed the 1000-point mark on Saturday. Not even half-way to ROG's total, but more than double anybody else's tally in a Munster jersey.

3 new arrivals announced this week

marshall, 21 year old kiwi hooker, project player
du toit, highly regarded 21 yr old prop, just for 3 months, he also signed a 3 year deal with the sharks back home this week
cathal sheridan, back again after being released last summer.... TOL left out of the ECC squad so it appears as if he is not to rassie's liking. sheriden is a decent back up but the difference between murray and any other scrum half we have is massive

also arrived 2 weeks ago, jaco taute... medical SA joker for 3 months with scannell and saili crocked

All according to the master plan. Attack like a bunch of half-arsed eejits and defend like a revolving door. That'll be Racing lulled into a perfectly realistic sense of security.

Genuinely awful performance . Scoreline flattered us and Leinster didn't even have to play well.

Racing away next week seems like an unlikely starting point on the road to recovery.
