He just passed the ball through his legs! What more do you want?

tbf, he's obviously worked on his kicking from hand (well, he's had plenty of practice), which has improved. Not at the same level as Ford, but at a good level.

But this last period has shown that Scotland just aren't that good. If you can keep the ball, they're in trouble.

Stupid from Russell there. Lucky for us.

God that was poor ... to be only 2pts down is actually pretty good in the circumstances.

George, Billy and Itoje really look like players who haven't been in a pressurised game for a while.

Hope the plan was always to switch hookers early.

I was just about to post 'I'll take that given that start'.

The pressure put on the Scottish 9 in defence and on 10 in attack has been great and all completely undone by stupid obvious penalties ( bar the tackler in at the side one against curry)

So this is England's bold new attacking style? Have to admit, it has been worth the wait

Sco should have been 15 points up on that dominance
They threw the sink at it though, so depends on their fitness now & Eng changes. Sco pack mobility up there.

Not sure i agree. Some decent kicks put in. It's the fuckwittery elsewhere that kills.
A lot harder to give away silly pens when you have the ball.
Very easy to give away pens running from deep.

I think Itoje looks generally good. And George, too. Billy looks a little off it mentally and Farrell is...limited.

I'd like to see us make early changes. Especially in the half backs and at 8 (which isn't something I often say, Billy is so important to how we play usually, but he's just off it completely).

Also I agree on changing hookers early, too. More importantly, we need to keep the ball more, as the ref favours the attacking team. We can't just always kick, especially when the ref's decisions go against us so consistently, except during the part of the half we keep the ball...

Hmmm...I wonder what that means?

We'll probably start kicking away even more, if that's even possible.

We gave the wrong 12 to the haggis men. They have showed the value of an 8 with pace.

If Jones has brain and balls he will take both Farrell and Lawrence off.

Some Saracens forwards look like their carrying some excess timber (including Itoje?)

What's Lawrence done wrong? He's made his tackles and hasn't had any ball!

Not so sure. I think I'd rather Scotland had made the most of their superiority. As it is, were within a penalty kick, so no need to change things up.
