Clunky when they played pre-planned but much better when playing what’s in front of them.

The quick lineout for their try does make me wonder why we never seem to have clever ideas.

Quite. The Scottish try showed what we should be doing.

On the bright side it could be worse, could be Welsh. Not too bad from a relatively young, inexperienced England team. Bodes well for the World Cup after next.

Maybe, just maybe, it's not all Farrell's fault then? :?

This is true, and they lost against Ireland today.

Yes, Andy Farrell could be in charge then.

For the last x years England have only looked good with Tuilagi in the side.

On the plus side this team has some pretty impressive handling. But it’s lateral.

Yep, was going to post that Slade and Daly were kicking through just like Farrell, ie good kicks but a poor choice, but the analysts brought it up. That said, has it been tactics influencing Farrell or Farrell influencing tactics?

I don't think so, it's a tradition or an old charter or something.

Just waiting to George Ford to come on, and single-handedly rescue England, only for Daly to be given all the plaudits for kicking it away on overlaps, and Ford to never see another cap.

Don’t forget that we would’ve won it by more if Farrell were playing.

Better play. A few more penalty spells like that the Scots will go down a player.

Oh, the match wouldn't have needed saving if the iceman had been there to pull the strings of those around him.
