Might partake in a bit of cultural appropriation here and watch this in a headdress.

Ulster is receiving Bordeaux next week and is playing Exceter this week. If they lose or win without the bonus today ,they should be toast.
Saracens vs Toulon. if toulon lose they are out. If they win on a fine margin (no bonus point) and if Glasgow win on a bonus point, Glasgow should be ahead of them in the picking order.
Toulouse vs connacht : Ideal result is a connacht victory or Toulouse win + no bonus points for connacht. a defensive bonus point for connacht could see a Both going through.
Wasps are playing Zebre and will most probably end up first of the pool.
A Glasgow bonus point win would do a great deal in helping, both point wise and for the point difference.

Yeah, but they could get it next week (as Bordeaux are out and will probably send the reserves)OptimisticJock wrote:I never actually looked at ulsters Pts diff, was just looking at toulon. Things aren't as bad as I thought provided they don't get the BP tonight.

As long as Glasgow win it shouldn't matter too much given their respective Pts diff atm.Adder wrote:Yeah, but they could get it next week (as Bordeaux are out and will probably send the reserves)OptimisticJock wrote:I never actually looked at ulsters Pts diff, was just looking at toulon. Re: The Glasgow Carpet Burns and Cary Grant Appreciation Thread
wasps and Toulouse wil go through would expect sarries to beat Toulon at home so if weeg win I think they will make it.
tough luck for the weeg again when you look at how much having Zebre completely swings it.
Really think points against last finishing team should be removed when deciding runners up spot. Up until today racing have not done anything.

Can't see Toulon beating the Sarries. We are rather good on point difference with Ulster, Toulouse are finding form and will probably beat connacht (but maybe not with a Margin).

Some tidy results in other pools. So if Glasgow win, they're through.

Not sure about that one. Could two runner up spots not go to pool 2? In my mind Glasgow, Toulon +2 from pool 2 are fighting for 3 slots?

Win with bonus. Competition with Toulon (15), toulouse(14) and connacht(18) all with better point differences. But Toulon is playing sarries away and toulouse is receiving connacht and they should cancel each other out.ARM wrote:Some tidy results in other pools. So if Glasgow win, they're through.

Eh? Can you get three teams out of one pool?

If they outscore Glasgow on points, why not? I don't know the rules FYI so would welcome some clarification.ARM wrote:Eh? Can you get three teams out of one pool?
If Wasps BP Zebre & Toulouse BP Connacht with a LBP to Connacht...
Wasps 22
Toulouse 19
Connacht 19
Whilst Glasgow would be on 18 assuming no BP win. As much as I want Glasgow to progress that would be an injustice if that happened.

Have checked rules. Five pool winners and three best second placed teams. Wasps, Toulouse and Connacht have to sort out their own pool (which is right as otherwise the Italian pool will see three qualifiers most years)
Weeg win, they're through.
