Nice one! I was very close to going but we went to South Africa instead. Did get to catch a game at Loftus tho.

Is that a new, younger Fofana we need to watch out for?

Wesley must be 50+ caps and well over 30 years old now. We know what he offers.

Some strength in that French team. Penaud and DuPont in particular are quality.

Interesting to see whether our pack gets their erse handed to them as usual.

Some interesting selections, particularly Ollivon and Cros on the flanks. Camille Chat is worthy of his place and in my opinion, should be first choice ahead of Guirado.

A well rested and firing on all cylinders guirado is 2nd only to coles in the world - total leader for france who aren't big on leadership at times as well

Was just checking Guirado’s age on wiki and came across the “personal life” bit...

France aren’t exactly spoiled for choice for captain and Guirado’s leadership has been questioned a few times. I think your rating of no2 in the world is a tad generous !

When Marchand is fit, I reckon he’ll be a long term captain of the French XV.

Additionally..........Julian Marchand is currently recovering from a cruciate ligament injury and could be available for his club Stade Toulousain in October, so all being well, he will be considered for the 6N.

Marx hasn't it done yet but this world cup could make him. George is there alright

Agreed. Guirado has 70 caps though, he has the cash in the bank

These usually work best

http://www.time4tv.net/schedule.php

I will probably just use my vpn to watch it on France 2.

30 seconds, we lose the ball on our own lineout throw in the 22 - spills over the top, France gather and are smelling blood already.

Jesus Christ. Nothing has changed then.

Beautiful try, but we should never have been in that position
