She always seems to get the tone wrong. She’s been like it for years. AWJ and Farrell were asked some stupid questions

And the second try was perfectly fine

At least we can all unite on this issue.

What a weird game. All I can say is you guys took your chances and never give up. Very promising if Pivac can start to make his mark on your attacking game.

What’s it like over on the England board? Are they unhappy or happy that this is the shock to get changes - coaches and players?

Pivac had his ‘no shite questions if you please’ face there. Good man

I though AWJ and Farrell were going to help her to do one. I would have blamed either if they had.

I reckon she’s off the Christmas card list

It’ll be interesting to see how the English press deal with the inquest. Blame the ref; we were the better side but they just scored more points than us; it will be a devalued Championship/Grand Slam etc etc, ad nauseum!

England looked good in patches and scored two good tries. But they have away a lot of penalties and whilst it wasn’t route one rugby today (their centres and back three saw a fair bit of ball) discipline is killing them.

Itoje cannot give away 5 penalties in a match.

And some of their players are very rusty. It shows.

I think they will be quite harsh on England. It’s what the press do, Eddie Jones and the team are the best in the world when they win, but they cop it when they lose. If it goes ahead, England v France will be a classic. Another defeat for England and Jones will be under serious pressure, beat a good French team and all will be rosy(ish) again

Could be England vs Ireland for 4th place if the Scots can win beat Ireland.

Frustrating but not a shocking result. We look horribly stuck in rut when things don’t go our way, whereas Wales seem to be able to keep on trucking.

Wales are starting to look resilient again, and are one or two jigsaw pieces away from being a very good side indeed. That said, I thought England looked strong favourites when they got to 24 all. The big carriers were starting to punch holes in the Welsh defence, and it looked like Wales were going to struggle.

They should be harsh. England are an overrated team lacking rugby brains, with a one-dimensional approach.

Those couple of penalties just after England levelled the scores at 24 all were decisive. England just needed to keep calm and keep doing what they were doing, yet suddenly we were 9 points up and the game had to be chased. When the ref is picky (and he was for both sides) you need to adapt, but they kept giving away stupid penalties. It wasn't even tiredness to blame. Genge gave away a daft penalty after being on the field for about 5 minutes. That's as daft as his haircut.

We kept our nerve really well which I'm really impressed by.

They’ve lost their way at present and picking the undercooked Saracens players is hurting them. They are still largely the same team that dismantled New Zealand in a World Cup semi final not so long ago, and I think they will beat France in a couple of weeks. Not sure about the wider squad. When they beat Wales a few months ago, their bench was outstanding, whereas there were a few clangers from Ewels, Genge, Robson etc today.

Mate, I'm positively dancing on the ceiling. We just put 4 tries past England; this feels as good as the 30-3 win. And if the English press are going to spend the next week moaning about the ref, so much the better.

I told you: Courage and to keep the faith.

Never in doubt, but my forecast of 27-18 was a little short on the accuracy front.

Big shout out to Liam Botham today. Another very good stint off the bench; some big hits and good breakdown presence. He looks like a real find.
