We didn't even manage to get anyone into the air so I'm not sure that can be laid at Roy's door until I see it again.

Random question. Anyone familiar with Sandinos bar in Derry...?. One of my mates is doing stand up comedy there in August.

Ye won't find any of these Ulster ballixes have been anywhere near Derry. Some of em may have been to Londonderry, but not that many would venture any further wesht than Ballymena-hey.
I've been to Sandinos. Its OK. Wasn't much craic the first night I was there, but that was probably because we were raiding it and shaking down everyone in there (Brit Bastards!!!!!!)
Been back since and it was great. Although its on the 'wrong' side of the river it is very safely tucked in the city centre. If he is there in the second weekend in August things could be a little 'bouncy' as the Apprentice Boys will be marching up and down on their annual commemoration of the lifting of the Siege.

If anyone is in the area,.....he's a mate, international superstar DJ and a top bloke. Stand up is a new thing for him and I've not seen the act yet. But tomorrow I'm going to a festival where he'll be DJ ing and kicking the living shit out of everything post 11pm. I'm drooling already.

So Ulster will be starting the season without Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding as they prepare for their rape trial. Grim.

This is a truly miserable situation and I hope the two lads come out of it with their reputations intact. Grim, indeed.

A good win for Ulster with a weakened pack. Not pretty, but some good hard nosed play. Nice to see Henderson playing at top form. Stockdale must be playing himself into a starting slot for the AIs.

Connacht were sharp, and fair play to them, but that's probably the worst Ulster performance for years. What a disorganized rabble. Most of that team are not up to this level of rugby. They were bullied from start to finish.

First time of watched ulster in years. I know connacht are decent but was surprised how dominant they were. Very limp, despite a little bit of fight being shown at the end.
Ultane Dillane is one of the best names in rugby, a barbarian in a fantasy epic.
