It's an awkward one when you cant kick at goal but also cant win a lineout. Makes giving away a penalty a lot less of an issue for italy.

Having said that they just slotted one to make it 16-10 and the back 3 are looking very good

All we needed were two of those easy conversions...

Did must of the hard work and got into their 22 with 3 mins to go but then lost it and conceded a maul try in overtime. 27-26 to Italy with conversion to come.

Lots of good things but ultimately the set piece let them down

Pumped ireland yesterday. Good win.

Next year's group based on seedings is NZ, SA, Scotland and Georgia. Tough school.

Did you watch the NZ France game?
Jordan Joseph is their number 8. At just 17 he is a beast (with good hands). Comes from the same team as Bastareaud (Massy).
He has just signed a contract with Racing.
In all Honesty, the French and the English look like their players have reached full size. Benefit of having a large population I guess.

You do wonder what they feed them and how long they are going to last.

Couldnt be bothered to start a new thread that would soon fizzle out but Carl Hogg is the new u20s head coach. Seems a good move.

Scott Lawson and Nikki Walker as assistants
