My team has been utter shite this week ... lots of single figures ... hopefully my Wasps players get me some points.

I reckon last week's point hauls will be a bit of an anomaly. We aren't going to see 50 tries every game round.

True - I keep telling myself I picked a squad for 22 games not 2 ...

How much are people paying in salaries to players who haven't yet scored a point for them?

I'm at £1.62 million, some of them Lions, some of them injured, and I can't say I know what's up with Calum Clark, i.e. injured or simply not being picked

Oof ... that's a decent amount. Mine is £525k but that's across 3 players all of whom have minor injuries.

In hindsight, I would have held more money back in reserve but I'm playing the long game ...

I've got Waldrom, George, LCD, Denton, Marshall, Clark and Francis to at some point come into contention

1.47 for me. George does take up a hefty whack, but 2 hookers down? That's tough. Mine's spread across the team, and would be more but I rectified one of my mistakes quickly. Will completely solve it and drop the 1.47 further soon, too.

I expected player values to go up more than they have so I was hedging my bets and bought some squad players who I thought might go up quite quickly.

My three are: Ford-Robinson, Saili and Young

In hindsight, I would have left them out and saved the money to buy them when fit.

My biggest disappointment so far is Sam James. I haven't selected him in a 23 yet and with only 3 points so far, that's just as well!

I've got high hopes for Denton. He's not going to be out on the wing in Bath's 2-4-2 formation unless Gold does something very, very different to his norm

Going to be a tough week for me ...

2 out of 3 hookers injured so I'm going to have to make a transfer I don't really want to make!

2 out of 3 9s not selected either!

Does anyone know how many points it costs if you release an extra player? Looks like I might need to free up some cash ...

20 point penalty. I'm in the interesting position of being able to select players this week, with both Slater and Underhill finally starting. Mind, with my levels of prediction skills, having an input may actually reduce my points scoring. I did, after all, put Rokoduguni on the bench last week on the basis that he wouldn't do muchagainst Sarries.

Needed to make 1 signing, released Manu immediately (didn't do it last week) after the games. Now I have about 130k remaining. No Gopperth was something I was expecting (would have been nice if he was on the bench!) but didn't make enough plans for. Have to admit, I was hoping Woodward would kick for sticks at Glaws, but no luck there, leaves me low on the ground for place kickers, had to choose one I don't have much hope for (couldn't bring myself to choose Marcus Smith against Wasps so he's on the bench!)

Squad management is definitely a bit more complicated than I was expecting! I'm very glad I decided to rearrange my squad a lot before the start of the season.

There are 4 teams ahead of me across the 4 leagues I'm in, Arya's sharks in 2, Dr Fosters Gloucesters, then a couple from Drunken Wasps (one of whom is 20th in the whole game!). Overall not too shabby I feel.

Its a marathon not a sprint. Thats what i'm telling myself as my team languishes in the relegation zone.

I'm expecting a lot of point Quins v Wasps. Neither defense are anything you'd want to bet on...

I've just done some reorganising. Will need to buy a new prop at some point, and will have someone on the bench who's on the bench IRL, not ideal.

Plus with Saili not playing for Quins, I have a decision to make. Glad Ewels is back.

I was always going to release Saili and sign two this week but I had to change my plans and hire a player I didn't expect to need ...

I'm behind by a bigger distance than I'd like so I needed a starting 10. I could have played Sam James or Woodward out of position but I didn't think that would get me too many points so I now have both Burns brothers when I thought Freddie would suffice.

Armand, Itoje, Simmonds looks right to me :D. Wilson on the bench (hoping he'll make around 300 tackles).

My back row is Rhodes, Welch and Simmonds with Wilson on the bench. Tough call between Wilson and Rhodes, I'm tempted to switch it ...

Any of you Quins fans know why Visser isn't playing? Not even been on the bench but I saw him involved in 'A' League games?

Nope. Quins are generally rubbish when it comes to sharing injury updates. No news on Saili, Matthews or Chisholm's injuries either AFAIK.

What do you guys reckon? Start May or Solomona? I'm thinking that the later has the easier match up but the former has the better form.

Also debating whether to sign Addisson or Scott but probably have too many Sale and Glouc players as it is. Given my league position any and all advice gratefully accepted.

Why not both? May can play centre in the game...

That's my advice too; I've got May and Rokoduguni as my centres, no matter how nonsensical that would be in real life.
