Cotter needs to keep an eye on Dell. That's 2 pens we cannot afford a yellow.

Laidlaw playing some good quick stuff. Needs to keep up the tempo if we're to get points on the board!

We are absolutely devastating quick ball in hand.

And it's slowed down on the 5m line...

And Hoggy scores after some messy, messy passing...I'll take it! That could have been under our posts tbh... Ireland almost had a hand to that.

Ireland look very narrow in defence, over and over

Just watching replay, really messy from Finn that could have been an intercept and under our posts. It went to no man.

Is Murray putting the ball into the scrum straight into the second row?

Hogg falls off a tackle on SOB. He's not the only one, Dunbar missed one too. Ireland getting past the first man all too easily.

Cannot stand refs who penalise every single maul that collapses.

Nice wee get out of jail free card. Scotland pen as Ireland infringe in their own maul on our 5m line.

Strauss needs to get to channel 1 and get that ball out. The ball got to the back row.

Wilson needs to pack down at 8 pronto. Scrum under serious pressure and the ball is just dangling there while Ireland push us back. Strauss not quick enough.

Surprised nobody mistakes Rory Best's head for the ball.

Another miscommunication between Hogg and Seymour sees them collide mid air going for the same ball. Shepherded into touch as a result.

Apparently neither side need to be behind the kicker.

All this stuff about BPs etc designed to open up play but if the ref's actually penalise for basic law breaks then it would help.

Is it 3 against Dell or 2-1?

There would have been merit in starting the Glasgow front row either way.

That was against Fagerson. Both have been under pressure but good around the park so far.

The backs are sharpe. Jones is doing the basics so well.

Hoggy you absolute beauty! Strauss smashes it up the middle... Russell miss pass to Jones, to Hogg who runs into the gap... Maitland running a great support line next to him.. he dummies and is over the whitewash.

We're playing some superb rugby.

Sorry but the rushing out of the line is just not ok. 2 players rush on Jackson, neither gets a hand on him and he has a free 10 or so yards to run into.

Ireland have the tempo now.

Not going to penalise the Irish blockers? Ever?
