It's like watching an Eng v Arg game from a few years ago.

Awesome from Loz. Singlehandedly cut through the dross.

I’d be unhappy if I were Argentinian.

Lawes has been impressive after a hit and miss first 25.

Disappointing end to a period of solid defence.
Underhill has been impressive, not quite sure why the Hask would be an option now.

Slade has been rank average.

Feel a bit for Slade. It's not been happening for him but he's not helped himself.

Really poor by us
A few good performances in the forwards but not a lot o positives to take from that
Lozowski and Underhill have shown up well. Mako was good. Hughes OK, Lawes OK.
Otherwise not a lot to say

Disappointing performance. We played at their pace - the reason for which is hard to pin down.

Next week i would put George and Maro into the pack for Hartley and Kruis plus Farrell in for Slade and May (if fit) for Daly / Brown in the backs

Generally we were good defensively, but I have to say we had no real cohesion in attack. And most of that was because of a lack of gainline success.
The choice of MoM was rather random. I thought Underhill, Robshaw, Lawes or Ford were far more deserving.
After some initial promise - 20-35 minutes - we were lacking in attack in the backs as well as the forwards.
And one more thing: apart from 1 game, George's form has been poor since coming back from the Lions. Thought he was poor here, too.

Agree with almost all of this.
George didn't do anything of note, but I don't think he was noticeably poor?

Crikey what a letdown. We were genuinely bad for periods of that game, lacking pace and accuracy. Defence held up pretty well with big efforts from Underhill and Lawes.
Loz made a good impact.
Difficult to take much from that. it was a disappointing performance, one that was a definite notch or two down from what we produced in Argentina.

Why is anyone surprised that we were rusty? It always takes all the AIs after a jamboree.
How a LHP can be MoM when the scrum was poor is odd.
I loved Eddie saying, "How could we be so fuckinv stupid?" There are going to be a few bollockings, I suspect.

I was trying to watch both England and Scotland games at once, so it’s very hard to judge but that looked like total shite. Slade looked too desperate to impress at times and threw a couple of wild passes.
Ford missed some kicks so fuck him as well.

Now Scotland was a game and a half.

Because his loose play was excellent, in a pack lacking carriers??
Hartley needs to go, Kruis can't afford to give away penalties, Underhill is a decent tackler.
All very meh though; Slade looked a bit moribund and inaccurate, JJ forcing it and too flat too often. Lozowski showed promise, and worth a try with JJ, but it wont happen. You see when JJ goes off what happens to defence. Ford went ok I guess.
Average stuff.

Well that was a step down from the summer.
Main issue for me was that we simply couldn't get the ball, and when we did someone often messed it up.
Questions need to be asked of the pack. Very little go forward, Hughes and Mako aside, and we barely disrupted Thier ball at all. I known Underhill tackled like a monster, but there is more to rugby than that.
Krius was anonymous, Hartley poor.
Slades performance may have cemented Ford/Faz for the foreseeable future.

Need Billy

....seriously, we lack carriers. Lawes may have improved, but not enough. I really hope we don't try and compensate by putting a lock at 6.
