Quite some turn around from Scotland that and then superb resilience from England to get the draw.
What a load of bollicks.
Condescending garbage. You know it and ‘some people’ know it.

This result has been clear from the out. ‘Some people’ have been banging on about it pre 6n whilst those rugby watchers have stood firm in the belief it will click.

To be fair I thought Kruis outstanding in the first 40. Probably our best player come the final whistle.

I think my player of the 6N would be George. He's hardly put a foot wrong and has just gelled in a low-profile but productive wsy. I've not been a fan but am forced to be impressed after the 5 matches. Solid, effective and improving - he's been good.

Not Faz then??

also fair- he's done a lot of good tidying up work, carried well, tackled well, and his handling is good. Set piece good enough.

Yep. Great a tying things together with the odd bit of class. The Jan Molby of rugby, both in playing style and body shape.

Would get my vote. Just pray it doesn’t come out that the half time pitch huddle was his idea.

Didn't we do this against South Africa a couple of times last summer? From memory we went into the lead, then got pegged back and lost. It's something that it would have been nice to write off as a blip but it's happened too often for that. Game management has got to be looked at; it seem we start throwing it around and take our foot off of the throat too easily. Is Fazlet our captain? Or is he still just one of many supposed leaders? I get confused. TBH I wouldn't put AWJ in our pack, but an old stager who can rally the troops & inject some sanity when the team is losing it's head would be really useful.

Also missing tackles, we've done a lot more of that this Six Nations than I thought we would. Most of Scotland's tries involved some limp defending which is a big concern.

Why not? Old stager? 33 is hardly ancient for a lock these days. He has looked about the best all-round lock in the 6N. My top pair would be AWJ/Ryan.

This is actually worse each time I look. If that was an attempt at a charge down then he’s an idiot, if that was a tackle before the ball had been kicked it still would have been a shoulder charge, with no arms, and catches him in the face.

I’m not a massive fan of Farrell’s technique of lying on the floor ‘injured’ until he knows it’s play-on either.

I saw it like that as well. WTF is wrong with him. He is an elite player FFS.

Tight game, I'm not getting my own way, I know! I'll knock an opposition player out with a shoulder charge.

It massively looks like repeated behavior now. I am hoping Jones took him off and gave him a bollocking, who knows?

Team defence went from the sublime to the ridiculous through the tournament. I'd genuinely never seen anything like the smothering, line speed, weight of tackle and aggression against Ireland, to the sight of 5 or 6 England players falling off tackles and clutching at straws to let a opposition player in under the posts.

Shocking performance.

I set-off yesterday with hopes of seeing us win the Chamoionship. Even when Wales won, I thought ‘oh well, at least we’ll win back the Calcutta Cup’, then that second half happened.

Scotland were lucky to go in at half time with any points. We were that dominant that if anything, we should have scored at least one more try, but I have never seen an implosion like our second half. Literally every time Scotland got the ball we made them look dangerous. When we got the ball we looked clueless and then worse, panicked, kicking the ball aimlessly again like we did in Wales.

Eddie has made such a hash of the situation at scrum half that Youngs is effectively undroppable irrespective of performance and Farrell is infallible despite directly making several Scotland tries and yet another dangerous ‘tackle’ worthy of yellow card.

It was not ONLY the performances of our 9 and 10 but when we started to get things wrong in the 2nd half and Scotland gained momentum, solid decision-making had to be the best way of turning things back around. Deny Scotland the ball had to be the No 1 priority. Keep it tight and multi-phase our way back into the game.

Top of the no-no list should have been 'don't kick possession away'. What did Youngs do?

Behind that but not far, was 'don't take risks such as getting charged down or throw floaty passes that might be intercepted '. What did Farrell do?

There were loads of other lesser factors that contributed but when the two game-managers so evidently lose the plot the other thirteen players can be forgiven for being shell-shocked. That one of the two is also the captain and that the prat in the stands waited too long to change things even if he knew how must have been even more disheartening.

Overall, we are a mess. The victory in Dublin was an indication of our potential. Everything else has been poor RWC preparation. Jones likes to portray himself as the ultimate professional but yesterday was just amateur.

Yep, though equally worrying to me is that no one else on the park seems able to challenge the status quo; I do also think we have some fundamental defensive issues - some dreadful positioning and bad tackling compounding this.

I do also wonder about our fitness; blown up twice at about 50 mins. Being tired leads to mental errors.

Youngs kick down May’s line when May was the very player at the bottom of the ruck Youngs kicked from was pure genius

On that last point, I thought Kruis and Billy faded badly. Kruis had a better 6N than I thought possible but earlier on did someone not say he had been told to burn himself out in 60 in one of the games? Billy's tiredness has seen him cough up the ball in contact before now. I am criticising neither overall but I do wonder if planning for their departure on 60 might be sensible.
