It was the separate motors for each windscreen wiper that really sealed the deal for me.

Well, the landy has thrown a wobbly big time. Might be left in the carport for the rest of the day.

And won't be fixed in time for the second leg.
It's all terribly British.

Found a clip on YouTube. Looks nasty. If you look closely you can see Umaga and Mealamu behind the boat just before it tips over.

ETNZ are through to the LV final. Hell of a recovery given the crash on Tuesday.

Yes, wind speed was manipulated to make sure they went through to maximize TV viewership. I heard they used the wind expelled from all the deflating Lions fans.

Japan started the day leading their series 3-1. Sweden now leads 4-3. Looks like old Dean is choking again, even with all of Ellison's cash behind him.

Artemis had looked faster than Japan earlier in the competition, so it was surprising to see Barker get Japan into a lead. Hope he comes back.
Great turnaround from TNZ. Bloody good work getting it back on the water after that crash. Burling's struggling in the starts, but we've got a good boat.

Barker and Japan are out, off to train with their paymasters. Artemis v TNZ in the LV final. Artemis look a dangerous outfit: sometimes very fast, and sometimes very ordinary. They were of course the only team to beat Oracle (twice) in the round robin, and should have been 1-1 with TNZ, but also lost to weaker teams.

One apiece to the plastic Swedes and the Glorious Island Nation of New Zealand.

Has Burling won a single tactical battle yet?
I've only come in for the semis and final but he's barely won a tactical duel, and maybe only a single start out of 10-12 races?
Each race seems to be reliant on our boat, and a more efficient/less mistakes from the team.
