I think it's mostly about being able to select, rather than just pick who's fit. It's a handy first team still, but they're missing the likes of McCaffrey, Campagnaro, Devoto, Waldrom, LCD, etc who would give them depth and selection choices.

Puja
Hmmm. Accepted.
It's just that their bench look pretty useful.

Can’t be much worse than last year; Saints, Leicester and Exeter all lost 4/6 and Sale 5/6. Even Wasps who qualified only won 2/4 outside of the Italian games, then got well beaten by the one true quality team they had to play in Leinster.

To add to concerns, Wasps really suffering so far on the offsides. The level of lenience / neglect that ref's have shown in the league really working against them.

There really is a premiership injury crisis then? Wasps dropping like flies.

The Leics and Wasps argument about offside is a fecking joke. Neither of you understand the Law.
Your fans don't, either.
Consistency on both sides might help, perhaps?

Ulster deserved it in the end, although not sure if their one patented strike move of “give it to Piutau” will be enough to get them out of the group.

For Wasps, I thought Launch, Rowlands, Hughes and Mullan showed well, but too many passengers around the quality. Daly poor, Wade has been an empty jersey recently, and someone needs to aski Willie Le Roux for a refund on his enormous salary. And injuries....Wasps due some luck on that front soon surely.

That was a dreadful last 30 minutes from Wasps. They were ahead and had established a measure of control, but proceeded to fall apart making bad decisions and committing dull errors. Yet again they were hit by injuries but they didnt help themselves at times. Thought the props and locks went well. The backs just arent clicking at all, badly missing Cips at 10. Wade gave another demonstration of why he isnt anywhere near international quality.

Wade might not be playing well, and he might be in a struggling side, but he certainly looks test quality to me and it just depends on what you want in the right wing.

I would agree WLR isn't doing enough, he certainly is test quality yet looks error prone and slow (mentally and physically), he almost looks like he's being made to neck 2-3 pints before walking out on the pitch. If one were a cynic you'd say WLR shouldn't be playing as he looks pumped up on painkillers given there's such a gulf to where he should be in performance

First time Clark is playing against his former club, I wonder which Saint has been put on official wind up duty?

Interesting to see two of England's premier locks both packing down at blindside, that will be an interesting battle. Lawes is certainly the man in form at the moment.

This will be an interesting test of how Saints have come on in the weeks since that opening match embarrassment.

Collins to bench?

Lawes-Itoje stands out but the duel at hooker and IC are ones to keep an eye on.

I assume Foden has been brought in to deal with high balls from Saracens' kicking game, Collins missed a few last week

A long way from top quality in Paris so far.

Pitch looks dreadful too, cutting up really badly.

It's not a difficult one Austin, he didn't need to stick his arm out. Genge is a bit of a lucky boy there.

Have there been law changes or directives about flankers no longer needing to stay bound? Lacey seemed to ignore it all game.

losing BP not the worst result for Tigers. Thought their forwards worked really hard and yet again May was excellent.

That is one of the most pathetic half-hearted attempt at finishing I have ever seen by a winger. Asking to smash 'em bro.
