Need to get hold of some ball. First 10 minutes of the second half have been all France.

I’d say the referee is Barnesing it at the moment.

The best you could say about the second half is that we took our opportunity.

That final half hour was like watching 30 epileptics at a rave.

8-)

Rain slowed it down a bit. Pretty ugly game, I thought. All Blacks' winning streak against Les Bleus now extends to 11.
If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

When a referee literally states that it's OK to tackle a player without the ball because he was about to get a pass his way, then he's clearly lost the plot. Fucking pathetic from Gardner.

That’s a thing I hate that crops up quite a lot. Thy “commit” to tackling the wrong man, which is somehow justification.

I noticed he refereed the whole match in English, too. I think it's time rugby started looking at this issue. Rugby's supposedly a global game now. Refs are professional. I'm not saying they should be bilingual, but a reasonable grasp of the other team's vernacular would be useful.

NZ Completely dominated the game. Even when they went to sleep, they seemed in Control.

I did like the showing of some of the young French Players, Dupont (9)/Ducuing (15) and I thought Teddy Thomas was fairly solid in defence for once.

Scotland won't be as physical as the French but they are (bar Samoa game) slightly more disciplined and play as a team. Wll the Abs A team turn up this time?

Shame Teddy didn't score that second try. France really had the momentum at that point. Reminiscent of Cueto's non-try in the 2007 RWC final - just has a couple of toes in touch by the looks of it...

If the Blacks hadn't taken their foot off the gas in the second half, they'd have won by a country mile. Not what you'd expect from the world's best.

It was baffling why the commentators in the version watched were baffled by what he did. That's what they do in League, just in case it wasn't clear.

And the yellow card was fair, but the penalty try was bullshit.

Another of the referee's ... "baffling" decisions.

You can hear him on the mic saying he thought the French play would have scored, when he gives the penalty try, even though you hear him a minute earlier saying the opposite.

To be fair, getting a yellow card in your ingoal area with the opposition within touch would usually cost your team a penalty try. Huget was just behind SBW .

Realised there is a second test on tuesday evening (wednesday morning NZ).

French team is completely different bar Trin Dhuc.

 : 15. Spedding (Clermont); 14. G. Lacroix (La Rochelle), 13. Chavancy (Racing 92), 12. Danty (Stade Français), 11. H. Bonneval(Toulon); 10. Trinh-Duc (Toulon), 9. Lesgourgues (Bordeaux-Bègles) - 7. Macalou (Stade Français), 8. Tauleigne (Bordeaux-Bègles), 6. Lauret (Racing 92) - 5. R. Taofifenua (Toulon), 4. Maestri (Toulouse) - 3. Hamadache(Pau), 2. Chat (Racing 92), 1. Priso (Toulouse).

Les remplaçants : 16. Tolofua (Saracens), 17. Boughanmi (Stade rochelais), 18. Pointud (Stade toulousain), 19. Le Devedec (Brive), 20. Sanconnie (Brive), 21. Machenaud (Racing 92), 22. Plisson (Stade français), 23. Rattez (Stade Rochelais).

A bit lighter in the backs
A lot of young ones/new caps who play well for their respective club.
Expecting a basketball score for the Abs.
