Fair play Fowles. I've given him a lot of stick but he just dragged Edinburgh back into this game with that eye for the gap and try.

Still looked like he was running in treacle though...

Is Duncan Weir retarded? Why would you kick that on 76 mins? The fact it went dead is beyond the point. Give possession back to Munster at that point in the game and they will just retain it and run the clock down.

Never seen a team win a game from a losing position by relentlessly kicking the ball away with 5 minutes to go. It's a bold strategy cotton, let’s see if it pays off.

Why does nobody from Edinburgh play scrum half with the 9 is unavailable? They just pile into a ruck when the ball is won and secured.

Could have won that. Shame.

But overall a very encouraging season.

Close on the scoreboard but thought Edinburgh were awful today. Some really, really naive and brainless stuff.

Ah shame, thought that might have happened at that last lineout, the one before looked ropey as fuck.

I guess the silver lining is we avoid a murdering in Dublin.

Well that was deeply frustrating as the game was there to be won. However you've got to be in it to win it and it's been a really good season overall. Lots to build on for next season.

Thought that the subs were bad for us. Nel and Dell made a difference but Fowles is sooooo slooooow at the base of the ruck. At least with SHC there was a hint of a threat and his passing has gotten much better. His last action as an Edinburgh player was to knock over a penalty.

DVdM on the wing was brilliant and Kinghorn was very threatening. Add a real flyer, a hint of threat at ten and I think we could have a really good first choice back line next season. Here's hoping Hickey and Graham step up. Interesting that Cockers cited Graham and Crosbie in his list of players that fans would come to watch.

Found it quit irritating that Hugh Dan kept referring to Ritchie as Bradbury but it doesn't help that they have the same haircut.

Agreed with all of that Switch.

Jebus, watching that Earls try there, that chip from Zebo was superb. I appreciate he had penas advantage, so less pressure, but fair fucks for trying it.

You or the poor ballix who dialed 999 hoping for help putting his intestines back in after a heroin induced rectal prolapse only for you to rock up?

Only managed to watch the 2nd half but Ed were disappointing. The game was there to be won and they fluffed their lines throughout Act 2.

Off the top of my head I can't recall seeing any unforced errors from Munster versus a catalogue from Edinburgh. Zebo's chip apart, Munster did nothing but stay mistake free and let Ed keep shooting themselves in the foot and gifting possession and field position. Gilchrist, Weir and du Preez particularly culpable.

It is still unclear how things will step forward next year given the options at 9,10, 11, 14 & 15. The pack will be competitive but can't currently see how the backs will be coherent enough and have sufficient quality to provide a threat.
