Billy was OK, but has been down on a knee a few times.

Sarries looking very very good. Loving how Farrell is still improving as a player, he's running often, committing the defence, putting in nice chip over kicks etc. If he can bring that to the 12 shirt for England, that'll be handy.
Billy is short of puff, but effective when involved. Most carries and second most tackles and a try, so pretty handy!

Faz is doing well, but the work is being done in front of him, he's on the front foot all the time. Different for England unless they dominate similarly.

Easy. Chiefs defence too narrow again. They are struggling in the backs out wide.

Baxter seems to have decided Simmonds and Hill are to blame.Hmmm

That's a very long advantage. Baxter got it right putting Steenson on.

Sarries far better on the day. They were very good ball in hand. Itoje, Vunipolas, Kruis, George all good, and faz played very well 1st half.

Sarries with all their key players back are the best in the prem and deserved winners.

It's still an incredible achievement for exeter to come this far again. I know it's boring to keep bringing up how far they have come but I'm actually not that disappointed today. After watching what sarries did to wasps last week I was expecting it.

Saracens really good and deserved winners. They handled the Exe attack very cleverly and took their chances. It was a highly professional performance. Exe not quite firing, with a few of their players below par.
from an England POV Mako and Itoje were excellent, Billy had a decent hour, Faz very good. Slade a bit disappointing and LCD never really got going. Hill played well.
Hopefully Faz and Isiekwe will be fit to travel.

Easily the better team won, Exeter need to develop their attack outside 85% of AP games and for Europe

I felt they did the same thing but a bit faster with Steenson, and with Steenson looking to attract more defenders which doesn't hurt. Though I'd still say kudos to Baxter for starting Simmonds.

Simmonds played deep, and has done before- looks like a player who could play a lot flatter to me. Steenson played much flatter, and it made a big difference, albeit against a defence who were tired and hanging on a bit. They noticeably went wider, with less pick and go/ attritional ball retention.

Can't help but feel Baxter failed a test today. When it became apparent after 30 minutes that their plan A, wrapping around, putting power through 1 or 2 out runners and denying the opposition ball through repeated phases, guaranteed by sealing off, wasn't working, there didn't appear to be a plan B.

Sarries would be even better without the pedestrian Wiggy.
