Oh FFS.
We finally get a couple of offloads working, Rhys gives a ball whilst falling over the line, and Homer somehow manages to drop it (barely)

Have I missed a law change that allows mauls to be sacked this year?

Dreadful from Homer.

Interesting to see how much Smith and Crane have in their legs, with the speed of that Bath backrow.

Oh and Jamie Roberts still getting a game at 12 in the top flight? Not a good look.

Hell of a break, great chase back, but white line fever from the Bristol SH when a simple pass is a score.

Pretty turgid half there ... some decent stuff from Vui and Luatua but not much for the spectator!

Bath are really frustrating (even though I want a bris win). What are they doing?

Taking their cue from modern politics, opting for the shotgun approach, and taking square aim at their own feet, and giving them both barrels

Not that I think it should be, but I thought it didn't need to go straight if uncontested?
Or was that a rejected ELV? Or just me being wrong.

Either way, well played Bristol; Bath will rue the errors, but Brizzlies made them count

God that was so full of errors - very short on quality

Good work Bristol, just what the league needed and a very tidy result. Bath need shooting though, Tom Homer doubly so - my youngest is 2 and she gets taught in her rugby lessons to hold the ball in two hands. Why the hell he decided he needed to be captain flash and switch to holding the ball in the palm of one hand to ground it, instead of just falling over, I don't know.

Excellent win for Bristol but wow Bath look pretty poor.

As said pre-season counts for nothing.
