For all of Gloucester’s new signings, one of the players I’m most excited to see is VRR. Sounds like he had a good game yesterday and if he can stay fit he’ll be a quality asset.

VRR was my motm yesterday. Had a bad year of injuries, if he can stay fit this year he’s one hell of a prospect.

Was it just me or did Cipriani look in a different class to the other fly halves last weekend?

100% agree. He’s got all the ingredients to be a top loosehead. He’s a good scrummager (I’ve seen a few people say he gave Franks a torrid time on Saturday), he has a high work rate, is a decent enough carrier and is surprisingly good as a jackal at the breakdown. A lot to like.
The only problem is, we have lots of good looseheads ... Such a shame he’s not a tighthead.

Cipriani IS a different class to all other 10's in the Premiership.
I've banged the Val R-R for England drum while he was at Worcs casually dismantling good TH's. His scrummaging is damaging but its his work on defensive breakdowns that is really eye catching. Stay fit and he must surely be in the discussion at the very least.
