George Ford, with a huddle of Leicester players around him, can be seen visibly pleading with the guys for someone to take all this damn responsibility off of him. Well that's what I'm assuming he is saying.

There are times when the fact that Youngs is an international scrum half just takes my breath away.

Guy Thompson is hard not to like isn't he.

George Ford had two great and important moments in the build up to that try. He is on top form.....looking forward to watching him warm the bench next month.

Dan Cole using all his experience.

Cole being Cole and Youngs being Youngs.

Tigers would be in a much better position if They where benched and given a kick up the bum.

Can understand why not with Cole though as Heyes isn’t still developing game but Harrison can easily start.

On the rough side of it but far more clinical. They'll be happier with that first half I think.

WTAF was that? That's an atrocious piece of decision making and execution from Youngs. especially after May and Holmes had done excellently to put them in a good place to clear.

Whisper it but Manu starting to look a bit like his old self.

I'm intrigued to see what new way Tigers are going to find to blow this lead.

I think Healey would wank himself into an early grave if England fielded 10. Cipriani 12. Farrell 13. Tuilagi.

Not really a surprise but Manu outside Ford with front foot ball looks pretty hard to defend.

Why would Murphy not keep Ford as captain even when Tom Youngs is back? Let the FH run things.

Surprised to see so many empty seats.

England would be a serious outfit if we ever had both Vunipola’s and Manu all fit at the same time.

Bit unfair that we have three good quality 10’s in Cips, Ford and Farrell yet barely an international 9 worth the name.

Great and necessary win today. Not perfect, but hopefully signs of how Murphy's Tigers will play.

A few thoughts:
- What is the purpose of Polota-Nau? He has contributed nothing to Leicester after arriving with such fanfare.
- Does anyone remember the last time Ben Youngs tapped and ran from a penalty? He keeps looking and dummying, but never seems to go. I think it's emblematic of his scrambled state of mind - he's second guessing himself and trying to play safe all the time.
- Thompson's looking the missing link in our back row. More of that please!
- Manu is due for an injury now. Sprained thumb, perhaps. This kind of form is where you'd put him in England sides on merit, rather than name, so he'll crock himself any second.

Liking this Ford under Murphy. Please Jones play him for what he can do not want you want him to do...

Unfortunately he's more likely to be dropped for what he can't do.

English rugby selection in a depressing nutshell.

But what is it that Farrell can do that Ford can’t?

His defence is a myth and his leadership is basically being mouthy.
