He looked uncomfortable as he went off, but not overtly injured. I'm hoping it was just bumps and bruises and they decided to give him a rest as they were well in the lead.

Had the shits apparently.

This is a little bit of a cripple fight...

Really looking forward to the new signings now, we definitely need an improvement in these 3rd choices, they're universally shit.

Has to be said, Robshaw has been very good since coming back from injury.

yes, but no longer, and very decent is a lowish bar. I think the point I'm making is clear- don't mistake looking good at club level (and this is Worcester) is anything other than that.

Indeed. His timing and positioning are superb at this level, but he's lost a little bit of speed, reaction-wise, and that's a killer at international level. Was a great servant for England, now he can go back to the club game and give it his all until going for a final payday in Japan or somewhere.

Poor Josh Ibuanopke, he was absolutely shattered at the end of that. 65 minutes for him was a huge effort. He's nowhere near ready and there have to be questions over whether he ever will be...

disappearing post :). Just think his time has gone internationally, plus maybe we need a break from the past leadership wise. Warrior, but not enough,

Just about got away with that ... a poor performance, but I’ll take the result!

I wasn’t being snarky, genuinely wondered what you thought. Very decent wasn’t much cop when he was first choice and out of position in a moderately talented backrow/pack. As 4th choice flanker, wont let you down if needed, in his best position in a much more gifted and balanced pack...

I could live with Eng going to the World Cup with Underhill, Curry, Wilson and Robshaw.

answered your original post above :D

agree with your best position bit, btw, but imo that time has passed- and actually, he might let you down, pace wise.

Well yes, he's better than Shields, if that's what you mean...but he's not a Kiwi...

You edited yours... :)

If we take 4 out and out flankers who’s number 4 for you then?

Yep. The Yato turnover was ridiculous. He was literally kneeling on the ground.

The last pass for their first try was iffy too, albeit less obvious.

Reinach butchered Saints’ best chance though. Had he just run it in to the corner, it was a try all day long.

Clear forward pass from Slimani before Naiyaravoro shoulder charged the Clermont 7 into touch. So that whole scrap was caused because the officials cannot see a clear forward pass

Yep. Blatant as well.

Ridiculous from Naiyaravoro, but I agree with Healy. I’m pretty certain Iturria was up to his dirty tricks again.

How is that not being checked further for Iturria elbowing Lawes in the head.

Luckily Saints lose nothing in defence from Naiyaravoro going off. Shit officiating all around there though.

Clancy is terrible, just awful. How he gets these games is beyond me.
