Why the need to kick? Had so many players outside him.

Re: Eng vs. Sco - Match thread
Why even look for the kick there?
Did well to work his back to the try line, but just why?

Christ...did Dayglo just say that Farrell 'chose the wrong option'?
I suppose that's kinda than saying he made a mistake.

Re: Eng vs. Sco - Match thread
Good defence Sco at end.
HT 31 - 7
even-steven in last 5 mins.Eng unable to Nil Sco in dominant half otherwise.
Real end-of-season mid-table feel about this match.

Re: Eng vs. Sco - Match thread
Considering we're so far in the lead, it's really bad that I can quite easily say Farrell has been pretty poor...
I mean, the tries were good, but his decision making and kicking and some of the passing are just poor. And it's not helped by slow service.
However, it just shows what we can do when we don't bloody kick the thing. We've got Daly and Slade in the line who can both execute a delightful outside arc and both can offload, throw a pass. And then we've got May, who's an incredible finisher, and Nowell, who is very good at finding space against poor defenses...
So, yeah. I mean, let's kick less, please, we just might win more...

I must say that we have seen two delightful bits of skill from Slade that Teo can only dream about. But I doubt Uncle Eddie agrees and wants size over skill.

Re: Eng vs. Sco - Match thread
Errors creeping in..Faz's HT power-huddle seems to have destabilised things.
