Exactly - that’s why I was so surprised.
If you’re not watching, it’s been a really cracking game. Tigers worked their way down the pitch in the red to score a converted try.
Ford has been excellent.

Great try though. Ford doing good stuff at the gainline.

Ford would absolutely kill it in a dominant team. Imagine him behind a pack like Racing or Clermont.

Ford’s nose dive will get some attention on Monday.

Is it coincidence that Ford looks so good when Youngs is missing?

Surely Youngs can’t away with that.

There was a horrible one in Quins v Sale last night, too. That went completely unpunished.

Now the ref's need to be consistent.
100% the right call, but it needs to be enforced a lot more.
Youngs, Kitchener, Williams, Fitzgerald, O'Connor are all part of the problem.
Why Murphy picked them over Wells and Thompson I will never know.

was just thinking how good he'd be for the AB's.

Funny, I was saying this always gets called if its a tackle, but never as a clearout, only last week.

Lethal on front foot ball with good options around him. I will never understand why he is so underrated.
Leicester owe any of the decent rugby they’ve played this season to Ford.

What was Genge doing with Nowell after the try? Very strange.

Comedy of errors. Tigers issues aren’t going to be easy to fix. Problems everywhere.

Mostly having a terrible back row tbh.

No comeback for Tigers but there were signs of life, mostly prompted by Ford who was first rate. A few in the front 5 were just fine, but that back row is simply inadequate.
Exe looked a few classes above. Their attacking game was outstanding at times. Slade was majestic. He is now putting together consistently impressive performances.
The Youngs red was fair enough, I reckon.

I agree with all of that fivepointer.
Slade was excellent and I like the look of his partnership with Devoto.
A quick shout out for Will Spencer who was brilliant in a losing cause.

Ford has been excellent all season.
