I was in the crowd and that game felt eminently comfortable. We were just ambling towards victory without being overly challenged, alternating between being 10 points and 7 points ahead, looking far more dangerous than Wales in attack but giving away some stupid penalties to keep them in it. Then Davies scored from absolutely nowhere and suddenly they were level. It made it so much worse - we had 70 minutes of having had it in the bag and then 10 minutes of realising that, not only had we not put the game away, but that we actually weren't going to.

All a bit of a storm in a teacup. Warburton always came across as a quiet bloke without a bad word for anyone. No doubt ghost-written by some hack to inflame the rabid Welsh fans and sell copies.
BTW - always thought that Warburton was overhyped as a player and captain. Very good but not great.

(Note to morepork - that would be a green carnation according to the old Noel Coward song. Yes, I believe you had to dye them.)
