Rieko has looked a lot better in the second half - keeping himself busy by getting more involved in the tight stuff, bagged a try and running some good support lines.

I think he’ll struggle to keep those goggles in place with only a strap, I agree. Adding headgear is a further piece of unfamiliar gear for him to get used to, though. It’s all less than ideal.

Are the goggles meant to be correcting his vision or just preventing damage to that area?

Seems odd if it’s physical protection. But surely contacts if it’s about his sight?

Ah. Hadn’t clocked that it was more about protecting the right than preserving the left, as it didn’t seem to originate from a rugby injury.
