If you search for Major League Rugby on Facebook and go to the All Videos tab, there's links of all upcoming and past matches. Some of them are at forbidding times in the morning, but you can watch them after the match has finished. Alternatively, there's (very brief) highlights on YouTube.

Best teams to watch are San Diego, NOLA, Houston, Toronto, and Seattle. RUNY (New York) would be to see what Basta and Foden are up to.

The players are nearly always quoted saying as much, doesn't mean they should be allowed

Loved the Hogg grounding for his try! That should be what you do every time unless you need to stretch for a grounding - a try is too important to risk with showboating.

Didn't think the LRZ try should have stood. Clearly left his hand and went forward - doesn't matter if his arm then grounds it, you can only regather a ball lost forward by catching it, not grounding it, so it's a knock forward. Ref was very poor tonight, relying on the TMO to make a lot of in-play decisions for him and overruling her on the try where she was actually the one who was right.

I didn’t see any clear separation from hand/arm before grounding. It left his hand but on the replays to me there was some part of his arm in contact throughout. Not that it made any difference. CMK did alright, he missed a few key decisions, Whites slap back he penalised Glos for was painful, and he allowed Exeter to slow ball down regularly, but he wasn’t terrible. Glos masters of their own demise as per usual.

Hogg's try (and link up with simmonds) was fantastic. He is gold dust. I was thinking "why is hogg playing" when I saw the team line up. That is exactly why. I hope he smashes it next weekend for scotland.

I'd have given LRZ's try. Seemed to have enough contact with the ball throughout.
Overall Exe the better side, making the most of some brainless Glos penalties and scoring an outstanding try through Hogg. Simmonds pace and handling really to the fore emphasising what value he can bring to a team. His defence was excellent too.

It'll surprise no-one to learn that Bastareaud did not look dynamic and athletic as a number 8. Frankly, he looks a waste of whatever money he is being paid.

Compare and contrast to Nonu, who is 38, still as fit as a butcher's dog, and who is having a massive influence on all the players around him. Or to Mtawarira, who stepped off a flight from a different continent on Thursday, and then played 70 minutes on the Saturday, anchoring what had previously been a very ropey scrum and providing the platform for a famous victory over the reigning champions in Old Glory's first ever home match - and then stayed for hours signing autographs afterwards. Both of them are absolute credits to the sport - Bastareaud currently is an embarrassment and needs to buck up his ideas.

He packed down at 8 and waddled somewhat ineffectively off the scrum in defence. Watching him pick and go in attack was like watching slow-motion.

I wonder why they think he would be good at 8, his positive work tends to come from going into contact at pace, not driving from a standing start. He's pretty decent over the ball I suppose, if he can get into position to be over the ball
