Surely Sky should have them, since they're replacing the AIs? Is that not a thing?

Not that I mind - anything but Stuart Barnes.

Puja
On the upside Amazon make the sport free to air if you have an Amazon fire stick. Amazon fire stick available for about £40 for those that haven't already got one.

I did away with Sky Sports a long time ago. I'm sure they intentionally hire the most annoying pundits going who seem to be there to try and out do each other with "controversial" views and talking points.

Curious to see who they sign up for commentary. Presumably it will be available to existing Amazon Prime customers?

My major annoyance will be not being able to record it on my Sky box and watch later. I have two small children and quite often it makes more sense for me to record a game and watch it after they've gone to bed, rather than try and do it live. If it's on Amazon, I might have no choice.

I’ve always assumed it would just be on the platform for x days/weeks/months/years to watch whenever you wish.

Prime has all the matches and replays from the tennis. I assume the rugby will stay available too.

I don't trust any online service with that though, especially one unused to hosting sports. I've seen too many where the video is labelled as "REPLAY FULL MATCH - England 38-9 Georgia - Jonny May scores hat-trick as England win despite early red card for Farrell..." Or worse, where they studiously avoid labelling the match with any spoilers and then have the spoilerrific title on the highlights link which is right next to it on the menu screen.

There is absolutely nothing worse than to have slogged through an exhausting day, keeping yourself going with the reward that you'll get to enjoy the rugby after finishing all your jobs and the kids are abed, only for it to be ripped away from you through something like that.

They've been showing live sports for at least a year now I think. I can still watch the 2019 Chendu ATP final (as a random example), with commentary. I've just loaded it up, that was Sept 29th I believe.

As I was writing the phrase, "There is absolutely nothing worse," the thought actually went through my mind of, "Shall I change it to something else so some forum pedant doesn't point out that there are, in fact, several things that are worse? No! No need to tone down perfectly normal rhetoric because somebody might be difficult about a bit of hyperbole!"

Presumably Fiji are in because they can raise a team from Europe-based players? But how will the travel work with France and then quarantine in the UK?

C4 to show the England-Ireland game live (recordings can be made for later viewing to assist parents with demanding children)

*There* we are! Thank you 5p.

Good news generally to get an autumn international on terrestrial. Wonder whether that was Ireland that pushed for that or us?

I would have been resigned to that had they been on Sky, so it could be worse. Please tell me he won't have his usual nodding dog with him?

I didn't originally make it as far through Puja's sense of enitlement to the idea there's simply nothing worse. That said whilst I have not and wasn't proposing to count syllables is it possible we're talking about a paean not a paeon, which I query merely as a humble peon.

It's a shame Japan will not have a crack at the the 6N teams, but I think they are sensible in prioritising their own public health. I'd love to have seen them scalp a team or two.
