He's played really well. Looks a massive talent.
Wasps talent starting to shine through in the second half.

Tigers more experienced players have added less not more in this second half. Absolutely abysmal third quarter.

Apparently Wasps can steal the ball from a completed ruck and come in at the side of mauls now. I know the games over but be nice if Dickson would still officiate as if it isn't. Didn't like him as a player, don't like him as a ref.

I'd also let the senior players who've played in the pack in the second half walk home because they've been embarrassing.

Good game from Alfie. Outside of his work ball in hand he was ok. Hit his rucks well, got into the tight. A few tackles. Nothing particularly standout. Decision making was good too. When to join the maul and keep the ball secure, when to stay out. Interesting that Wasps wanted him as a midfield option as often as possible.
Ball in hand exceptional. But that aspect has never been in doubt.
Great game to get the start in. Away from the pressure of the front row against the worst team in the leagues second string.
I’ve been talking him up since his U16’s days, and although he was good to very good tonight, let’s remember it was Tigers.

The fact that he's played a lot at 12 really does make him a fantastic option further out, you know he's not going to kill the move.

Yep, BT commentators got a bit carried away with him but it wasn't a great display from Tigers after the first 20 mins of youthful enthusiasm. Fair dos to him though, great future ahead. Also it was one of those nights when the ball was sticking for Wasps as there was no great consequence. Dickson really needs to work on his scrum timings, really spoiled things tonight, both teams were exasperated by it.

Anyone who watched it have any thoughts on how Henderson did? Bit of a jump for him from Scotland u20s but an early chance to see what it takes.

Henderson did OK. One of Tigers better players.
Overall, though, Leicester were simply miles off the pace. Tough on a young side to be exposed like that and it is difficult to get many positives from such a drubbing.
Barbeary was quite something. He is still a teenager but didnt look remotely out of place.
Wasps are going along very nicely. There is a lot to enjoy about the way they play. Lee Blackett deserves a lot of credit for pulling them out of their sump.

Rule doesn't apply with Faz, sadly

.
He's a talented lad; is hooker still his long term destination?

Oiled the wheels well?
Yes, doing very with what he's got- he inherited quite an odd mix, and they've got a fair few injuries too.

Yep, still very much a hooker and those are Wasps plans, but it was a chance to get him on the pitch and just let him play.

Its good thinking. Tigers could do with bolstering their youngsters in such a way, rather than throwing them to the lions ;(

Are they? I wouldn't be surprised to see him play back row, which would marry up his power game and playmaking ability

Wasps head coach Lee Blackett says the positional switch is to take pressure off his set-piece, an area which still needs improvement.
"There are still lots of parts of my game at hooker I need to work on, so it's about getting me playing and exposing me to this level," Barbeary said.
