Ferk. They called that chip by Russell.

Sarries bench isn’t great, so they’ve had to keep the starters on too long. Barritt off was massive- defence much less focused

To be fair, whilst it's gripping, i think it's good that antirugby doesn't win again. Sarries had their chance to get clear and didn't take it.

Their heads have gone. Regardless of result, this core group of Sarries players are a seriously impressive bunch.

I’ve never bought this anti rugby line. You play the way you need to. I agree Lewington blew a great chance tho.

Daly didn’t cover himself in glory in the last 5.

Sarries ran out of gas. Have to admire their guts.

Oh, i agree, would have been very pleased for sarries if they'd held on. But glad that they lost when racing broke the shackles than from some stupid penalty.

Hmm I'm not a fans of Sarries but calling them anti- rugby is a bit harsh. Had Racing not managed to pull back Wigglesworth (what was the TMO doing?!?) then the Morris break would have resulted in a try and I think that would have taken the game away from Racing. Sarries certainly tried to play ball in hand just in the opposition half.

I don't think Racing were a particularly fluent and exciting team as they have been previously. Looked like it was all about trying to find a spark of individual brilliance to score rather than cohesive attacking effort.

Banquo has got it right, Barritt going off and the lack of quality on the Sarries bench cost them. Imagine if they'd been able to have Thompkins, Earl, Spencer, Isikwe and Mallins on the bench. Morris made a good impact though.

The officials missed a lot. Morris did do some good things, as did Clark; whilst I’m no fan of him, to play in the same week as his dad being killed takes some courage.

Morris has impressed every time I’ve seen him play. I think he’s going to be quality.

Might that exit, putting them out of Europe for at least two years, test them financially?

Agree Daly went the wrong side of the edge with his pen. & speculative pass at the death. Good try to finish it.

Admirable effort from Saracens. They just faltered in the last 10 minutes when fatigue and injuries caught up with them. I expected more from Racing but they were well contained and pressured into making a host of errors.
Good on Nigel hurrying up the SH's.

Yeah, Sarries ran out of steam, Barritt going off and not converting one of those two big line breaks into try’s we’re they key moments.

Yes I like that element of his reffing- anyone else think, however that the other officials are a bit hesitant to intervene or call out something he hasn’t seen or called wrong? The decision he made on the knock on for example was something other tmos may have challenged with other refs. Not a biggy, as he clearly wants to be in charge and get on with the game, but he does tend to talk over the tmos.
