Scarlets player tested positive Monday, with self-isolation, Bath are unable to field a safe front row, so match against La Rochelle cancelled

I haven't spotted whether or not Scarlets themselves can put a team put

Should they have bothered playing this tournament (it might have been needed money wise). A year off focusing on domestic competitions would have refreshed it all for next year.

Scarlets v Toulon looks like being called off now. Never made sense that Bath had 12 players isolating after playing Scarlets and couldn’t put out a team, yet Scarlets were supposedly relatively unaffected.
Anyway, tournament is becoming farcical now.

I mean, they absolutely shouldn't, nor should we have bothered finishing the 19-20 full league season. However, they have contracts and TV obligations, and not doing so would've cost money, so flogging the players and putting out the youth teams it is!Cameo wrote:Should they have bothered playing this tournament (it might have been needed money wise). A fine example of public health being the ginger step child of society.Puja wrote:I mean, they absolutely shouldn't, nor should we have bothered finishing the 19-20 full league season. Glasgow are to make an official complaint to the EPCR about alleged breaches of covid protocols by Exeter during the match.

Yeah, it doesn't look good does it. Along with Nowell's comments before, you get the feeling there's a culture issue there. And taking Baxters comments in too, it looks like it's from the top.

Also a fine example of singling out step children and ginger children as you might be frowned on for other discriminatory reasons.

Could it not just be that he’s just found out Watson actually does play fullback for Bath?

The number of people willing to go to bat with the claim any loss of points for Exeter is harsh will be fast dwindling

To be fair to Baxter I used to play rugby with a guy who has gone full conspiracy theory nut, he's a Flat Earther and everything. I'll never take him off Facebook because he's fantastic entertainment value. There's only so much TV you can watch and books to read. Having some conspiracy theories to listen to would provide some live entertainment.
Worrying that we've got professional players believing such guff though.

Students having a spliff and watching ancient aliens is harmless fun. This hardcore right wing qanon/anti mask stuff is directly responsible for spreading the virus and killing countless people. It's fucking awful.FKAS wrote:To be fair to Baxter I used to play rugby with a guy who has gone full conspiracy theory nut, he's a Flat Earther and everything. Exeter's reputation as a club is really circling the drain right now.

So many words in order to say... what? We, the British public, are being abused? The whole thing is a scam? People aren’t dying? I sort of want to dig some more but I don’t know what I’ll find.twitchy wrote:More embarrassing bull shit.

Is coach Dildo communicating this fantastical misinformation publicly?
Also, is anyone looking into if the club knowingly breached protocols?

Yeah, sure, but do look up the definition of a society, love, and get back to me when you hasten the breakdown of ours and go looking for your iPhone in the midst of armageddon.
