That was far too big a hole for a side missing a back...

Made bloody hard work of it though. But then you put Robson, Launch, Rowlands and Willis back into the team....

Get Fekitoa back fit, too. They are in a good place with their youngsters coming through. Atkinson looks very handy.

Montpellier played with 14 for most of the match but it was good fun. The young wasps 9 that got nailed for the card looked really good all game.

Barbeary looked amazing. It's hard not to get excited about him.

Barbeary's just ridiculous. Can't see how he achieves such power in his play at all but he does. Porter is coming along nicely and Atkinson looks a gudun. Good to see such a tide of youth coming through at Wasps.

I only watched the second half, but was astounded by just how poor Sopoaga was. Passed to nobody under no pressure, made two very loose kicks straight down Montpellier throats, and kicked good ball out on the full. I would've thought Wasps will be desperate to get his salary off the books.

Get him off the books and channel the funds into keeping the array of young talent they've got coming through. Only problem for Wasps could be that if both he and Gopperth go (Gopperth will retire at some point 37 now and 38 before start of next season) that leaves them with very little experience at 10. If they can ever get Mills fit and healthy at 12 then that would take the pressure off.

Surprised by the result but when Wasps cut loose they are pretty devastating. You've got to make it an arm wrestle with them you can't afford to play loose.

Good night for Wasps. Very solid win and some encouraging performances from their youngsters.

Barbeary looks like he's been a Prem player for the last 3 or 4 seasons. Odogwu at 13 is something i'd like to see more of.

Odogwus top pace might not be an equal to the likes of May or Zammit etc, but by god can he accelerate, his try from Barbeary's offload looks like someone hit the fast forward button on just him. He still seems to end up on the wing a lot.

Haven’t watched him play at 13. How is his passing?

A good hooker can get involved almost as much as an 8. Alfie is better than a lot of 8s, OK, but that much better? However, compare him to a lot of hookers, and he'd be head and shoulders above a lot of them.
*cough* 12 *cough*
