Tyler, Bath conceded a free kick for early engagement early doors. Barnes escalated to penalty.

Wow some actual attacking rugby and a Tigers try. Good for Bath it did because there was three penalty advantages and almost certainly a yellow card had Tigers not scored.

Very though Steward is quick he isn't rapid. What a take for that field position and the second Tigers try.

OK, so Steward can catch the ball, has good positioning and can run pretty fast. How's his passing game?

So you don't really need him then.

Steward looks a manor born. Surprised Eddie hasn't made him an apprentice yet

Steward needs to look in front of him when chasing though. He can't just run in watching the ball the whole time these days, if he causes an accident, he'll get in trouble.

He gets in the air early and has such a big leap he arrives airborne. If you're up in the air and competing for the ball you won't get pinged. It's running through looking for the tackle where things get dangerous.

I feel a penalty for a turnover when a player doesn't role away quick enough should be a free kick, bit harsh when no player is intentionally committing foul play alot of the time.

Interesting definition of "carried back" by Barnes there.

He believes it came off Watson's foot.

I know, but he missed it by a good metre or so.

He called it, loudly, before the kick though, so no excuses

Evens it up by giving a soft penalty against Nadolo and letting Watson hold onto the ball for an age on the floor (whilst being dragged back by his retreating forwards.

Looking at the team sheets, it makes little sense that Bath didn't win that

That XV looks amazing

Well done Tigers

Bath off their feet at every ruck in the build up to their try often at speed. Hint of it from Tigers and immediate penalty. Frustrating.

Think you might need to open the other eye.
Both teams have been guilty throughout, Leicester had been warned a couple of times.

Both teams have a right to be a bit upset by Barnes

Jack van Poortvliet looked extremely good.

Pretty happy with my Jasper Wiese as signing of the season prediction so far
