Actually Exeter from 4-10 I thought looked somewhat missing in action, though that perhaps was still better than some of Hogg's efforts
well yes- the complete change of plan threw some of the team.. Thought Hogg did chuck in some brilliance amongst the dross,
For all their were mistakes I'd encourage both sides to keep going as it was a reasonably entertaining game. Other than Hogg, who I assume was focussed on how his new hair would look in a Lions shirt, that was just rank bad. #genuine fullback
yep, though #entertainmentissubjective, and Hogg is entertaining #formany

Worrying for Wasps they'd blown up come the last 10. Also worrying nobody sent their 9 and 10 out with a plan for the 2nd half as to how to exit.
Hogg is obviously much better than yesterday, and because it's him he'll be excused yet more errors

Its like players have no minds of their own, and simultaneously do. Keep making the case for Daly tho.

Daly looks done unless Malins is as ineffectual as Furbank. Might as well move along or one could equally pine for Balshaw I suppose.
Still for all I think nobody at Sarries can possibly advance their case playing down in the Dog and Duck league they did have Gregor Townsend and Steve Tandy along watching them play this weekend, which nicely sums up my view views on the jamboree

I'm merely amused by Hogg, though as noted many times over you'll forgive much to a player who wins matches all on their own.

Does Umaga really continue to impress? There are whole halves of rugby where he has zero influence on the game, or actively detracts from Wasps efforts.

He looked better than last time I saw him, but that was a low bar

I spent most of the first half trying to work out which actress he reminded me of

There were a couple of gorgeous passes when he sold everyone with his eyes (including the cameraman one time!), but he's not yet developed from being a fly-half that has good moments rather than good matches.

Umaga reminds me of the worst of Cipriani in that you are never quite sure whether he's going to create a try from nothing or cost you a try by making an unforced error. There's undeniable talent there but would you feel comfortable stepping up a level or even playing at 10 without someone like Gopperth at 12? No.

I'm enjoying watching a young player with talent continue to take on the challenge. It'd be very easy for him to hide much more than he does, but he's trying to be positive in attack and defence and he keeps coming back for more. I like the lad, and I especially like that quick kick action.

Is it even quicker than Hoggy’s?

Probably, Hogg has the low kicking arc, Umaga has that high knee quick snap technique which you'd like certainly 10s to have clearing under pressure, but it's not a natural action for most people. I don't know if what Umaga does feels natural to him, or he's worked and worked to acquire the process he has.

well yes, and a couple of nice breaks. But...
